Hello! My name is Sophia and I am 19 years old. After finishing school I decided to do volunteer work and travel because I really want to gain some new experiences and see the world.
I am quite an artistic person. I love drawing, painting and doing photography a lot.
I also enjoy being in nature and I love going for long hikes with my dog or driving my bike.
In my free time I go to my bouldering gym regularly, which is a hobby I picked up in 2022.
Additionally I am a generally friendly open minded person. I am adaptable and ready to learn new things.
Traveling for me means to gain new experiences, to meet new people, to get to know new traditions, to eat new food, to see different kinds of nature. I think travelling is a beautiful thing and I am excited to gain all kinds of experiences.
But I do not only want to travel. I also want to gain memories by volunteering, to learn new skills and to help people!

Quais são suas habilidades?
I am a dedicated and reliable volunteer with strong skills in coaching, tutoring, animal care, repair work, and people skills. I have trained 7- to 11-year-olds in gymnastics, earning a diploma as a training assistant after a four-week course. Before traveling, I led gymnastics lessons twice a week as a volunteer and loved seeing the kids enjoy themselves. I’ve also been a math tutor for a year and have worked at a summer camp, caring for primary school children. For 11 years, I've taken part in a yearly fundraiser supporting children in need.
Through Worldpackers, I’ve gained experience in animal care, gardening, building, and repair work. Volunteering is truly my passion—I love adapting to new work environments, learning hands-on skills, and contributing to meaningful projects. I thrive in roles where I can make a positive impact while connecting with others, and I’m always excited for new challenges.
