Hey!

I'm Sandy, a traveller from Scotland. I recently graduated university and am looking to spend a year or two exploring the world before I settle down.

About me: I love to talk to people and listen to stories. In my spare time, I play a lot of guitar and I have a lot of fun jamming with musicians of all levels. You do not have to be musical to jam with me, we can play simple, fun music. I love to play jazz, although I am still very much a beginner jazz player. I love all kinds of music, blues, rock, country, funk, classical. My favourite musicians are: Bach, Bill Evans, and Steely Dan.

If you would like to exchange skills, I can teach maths (my degree) and music (my passion).
I am interested in mindfulness and meditation, though I am not skilled in such things. Oh - and I love animals. it is a dream of mine to work with horses.

I am physically strong and willing to learn: I can be put to use chopping wood, digging, or performing any other basic manual labour. I also have experience in tutoring maths and music, and if you are interested then I'd be more than happy to assist your learning of music theory, guitar, or maths!

I had a really good exchange with Sandy from Scotland. Thankfully I could understand him (although we spoke the same language, a Scottish accent can be hard to understand) and I learned a lot about his country and now I can't wait to visit him someday.

My Spanish was poor which made communication a little difficult at times, so I would say to potential workawayers that they should be reasonably comfortable listening to basic spoken Spanish.
