I’m Martina, 30 years old, from a small town in central Italy, surrounded by hills and the sea. Growing up close to nature shaped who I am—I love spending time outdoors and enjoy all kinds of water activities like surfing, snorkeling and kayaking. One of my favorite things in the world? Reading by the sea and watching the sunset!

I completed my Master’s degree in Engineering and Architecture in July 2020 and since then I’ve been working as a Building Engineer and Designer.

Right now, I feel the need to take some time off—whether a few weeks or a few months—from my usual routine to travel, meet new people and cultures, improve my English, and gain new experiences that can help me figure out "what I want to do when I grow up".

In the past few months, I’ve discovered a passion for surfing, surfskating, climbing and solo traveling with people I’ve never met before. That’s why I want to keep exploring—to understand more about what truly excites me in life.

I’m curious, open-minded, and eager to try new things.
What do I love most? Being helpful to others and doing practical, creative activities: I enjoy gardening and crocheting my own clothes, making macramé bracelets, building or painting things—whether it’s furniture or walls—and, above all, reading and writing.

I also enjoy working with children—I have experience organizing creative and recreational activities for kids in my local parish and helping them with homework. In the past, I’ve also volunteered in community kitchens helping serve meals to people in need.

I hope this journey will lead me to beautiful places, inspiring people, and meaningful cultural exchanges. I'm ready to help where needed, share what I can, and learn a lot along the way!

I also have a strong interest in digital communication—copywriting, social media and content creation and I currently manage social accounts for myself and a few clients.
