Hi there, ciao!
I'm Marta, a 32-year-old Italian woman with a strong passion for medicinal plants, flowers, and art.
I come from a small town in the Italian countryside, where my family owns a farm in the middle of nowhere. Growing up there taught me to love nature, silence, fresh air, and the beauty of simple things.
Until last year, my life was focused on cultivating my career through courses and jobs that deepened my knowledge of plants and their benefits for human health.
Since January 2025, I decided to follow my inner voice: I left my stable life in Italy to explore something new—or perhaps discover something deeper within myself. I came to Canada to volunteer in a medicinal plant greenhouse, work at a market, learn French, and explore Montreal and Quebec.
After this extraordinary journey, I am now reflecting on some deep, personal questions about my true wishes. To continue this self-discovery, I am planning a long trip to Ecuador and Guatemala, countrirs that have always fascinated me for their nature and people.
I am an eclectic person, curious about many things, and I enjoy taking on diverse tasks. I am versatile, reflective, open-minded, and love both listening and sharing ideas. I am in love with the “new,” the “different,” and experiences that go beyond what I already know.

I am looking for a peaceful place where I can meet people and let them meet the real me.

Quais são suas habilidades?

I’m an herbalist by training, and I come from a family that runs a small farm, that’s where my love for nature was born. I’ve always felt at home surrounded by trees, fields, and the peaceful rhythm of the land.
I’m also an artist, and I have to thank my mother for that, she passed on her creativity to me. I have my small business of botanic frames made from dry flowers. Yes, I love drawing, creating, and working with plants. I’m good with my hands and enjoy any kind of practical or creative work.
Thanks to my work experiences, I’ve learned to be a good team player and communicator. I really enjoy exchanging ideas and languages with others, and I’m a great listener. I love hearing people’s stories and learning from them.
I’m always excited to be in new environments and take on new tasks. Anything that’s new to me feels like an opportunity to grow and be inspired.
