We are an English speaking family living in Sardinia. Carl runs our small farm and a micro brewery, Carey is a painter and has an art school. For the past few years while we rebuilt our farmhouse we have not been hosting, but now we feel ready again!
We are vegetarians and run our land and lives as organically as possible.
Come and join us to experience life on the land on a Mediterranean island. You can stay in a wagon or a comfortable bell tent, and there are bikes available for getting into the medieval town of Bosa or to the sea (4km away).
We normally expect help for half a day, five days a week. We all eat a big vegetarian lunch together but you would prepare your own breakfast and supper.

Our main motivation is to provide cultural exchange and learning opportunities - Mediterranean farming methods, food processing. We hope to make guests feel integrated into the Sardinian way of life.

Depending on the time of year you would either stay in our beautiful wagon, or in our comfortable furnished bell tent. There is access to a shower/toilet/washing machine room attached to the farmhouse

Wesley was very helpful and willing, he came up with helpful ideas to solve processing problems. while he was here we harvested all our grains in a fairly medieval manner! when not working Wesley was always out and about exploring and making the most of his time in Sardinia. I recommend Wesley to anyone.

My time on Carey and Carl's land was great! They communicated the help they needed very clearly, and, more importantly, they were kind, generous, and wonderful people to spend time with. I would recommend them to seasoned or brand new Workawayer's.

Carl and Carey were great hosts to us. We spent three weeks with them. They we're good company and fed us great lunches. They are very easy to get along with. The work was varied from farm to brewery and we thoroughly enjoyed our time in Bosa. We wish you all the best with the brewery and the plans with you house.

Nick and Annabel stayed with us for two months during this summer. They both did a great job taking care of the farm while we where away - feeding animals, watering the veg and showing in guests. They are good workers able to get a job done with the minimum of fuss.... i would recommend them.

We had a great time at the house in the olivegrove, and also later in the appartment in the beautiful city of Bosa!

zak and his friend bobby both did a great job helping us. the veg garden got weeded. rubbish got moved and the grapes got picked.. all in one week!they were able and willing to to help out at all times and could do a good job unsupervised. i would recomend them to anyone.
