Hey there, we are Marieke and Fabio. We are two students from Cologne, Germany, studying Ecology and Product Engineering. We moved to Mexico in march 2025 and are looking forward to using workaway as an opportunity to meet new people and get to know the culture of Mexico.
Marieke has experience using workaway and has worked on different organic farms in Sweden and Germany. Fabio loves any kind of wood- and construction work as well as gardening. In our spare time we like to play Volleyball and other sports, Marieke loves swimming and cycling and Fabio likes to sing and play piano.

Quais são suas habilidades?

I speak fluent english and german, also a little bit spanish. I am athletic and like to be active. In my freetime I am volunteering with some youth groops in a church: working in a youth café, convoying youth holidays, sitting some children, renavating the rooms, cleaning and working in the garden.
I aleeady have some Experiences with volunteering jobs. I spend 3 months with an german community. I learned a lot about living on a farm: animal care, milking goats, cows and sheeps, harvesting, planting, gardening...
I worked for a few months with a association for difficult children, where i learned a lot about education and how to handle children.
I love to be active: i played volleyball in my teenage years and love cycling.
I love cooking new crazy recipes from different cultures. I have a driver license.
Moreover i am a friendly and communicative young woman.
I am interested in a peaceful, free, equal and healthy world.
