Hey, my name is Jesús. I am from Pamplona (Spain) and i am 35 years old.
In the last 5 years I worked in a company dedicated to the automotive area. I worked as a machinist in a mechanical press. In my job, we manufacture flat plate steel pieces for cars. I am mechanical engineer, although i didn't work as engineer, but i liked my job, i did my eight hours and that's it.
My great passion, without any kind of doubt, is going hiking with my backpack for several days. I have done some hikes in Spain, such as "El camino de Santiago", which is very popular in the entire world. I love the Pyrenees (the mountain range there is between Spain and France), I have crossed it two times, both starting from the Mediterranean sea and end it in the Atlantic Ocean.
The reason i love backpacking is because it helps me to disconnect from my everyday life. Here, in the west countries, many times i have the feeling that everything goes extremely fast. We barely have time to think, reflect about ourselves. And despite we have, in general, far more than we need (material things), i don't think we are very happy.
So these hikes, are perfect to think, and i have decided to take a couple of years off (or maybe more) in order to travel.
To begin, I would like to go to Asia.
