Hi! We’re Grace and Dylan, a friendly, adaptable couple who love meeting new people, discovering new places, and learning about different cultures. We both have several years of experience in hospitality and customer service, and we enjoy working together to create positive experiences for others.

Grace has worked across a variety of hospitality roles, from pubs and cafés to weddings and events, and loves being part of a team that keeps everything running smoothly. She’s outgoing, organized, and happiest when she’s active, outdoors, and surrounded by good people. She’s especially excited about spending time in Japan, having grown up hearing her mum’s stories from the JET Program and visiting once before.

Dylan is hardworking, sociable, and calm under pressure, with experience in busy bars, restaurants, and nightclubs. He enjoys learning new skills, working as part of a team, and is always willing to help out wherever needed, whether that’s behind the bar, serving food, helping in the kitchen, or general maintenance and cleaning. He brings great energy, reliability, and a positive attitude to any role. Having lived in Japan when he was younger and visiting a couple of times with family he is eager to further embrace the country, culture and cuisines.

Together, we’re motivated by new experiences, teamwork, and meaningful cultural exchange. We’re both easygoing, proactive, and ready to get involved in whatever’s needed, whether that’s helping in hospitality, events, or day-to-day support roles. We’re excited to contribute, learn, and make genuine connections wherever we go whilst experiencing Japanese culture more deeply through daily life, work, and language.

Dylan
4 years working in different areas in Hospitality, both front and back of house (Kitchen, bar and waiter experience) as well as being in management or team leader positions in a variety of businesses including Pubs, Restaurants, Bars and Nightclubs - developing a skillset that can be utilised almost anywhere in a hospitality venue
Is very sociable and approachable, always aims to develop a friendly work atmosphere with good communication and teamwork alongside providing friendly and high-quality service to guests
Fast Learner and highly adaptable, will pick up how things work in a particular business quickly and make sure work is efficient whilst being comfortable working under pressure
Grace
5 years of hospitality and customer service experience in restaurants, fast-food and corporate and community events across, golf clubs and weddings
Strong communication skills with experience of cross-functional communication to ensure seamless and high-quality customer service
Cross-cultural communication, having presented a speech as a UN delegate and contributed in international discussion groups in the commission on status of women on subjects surrounding women's rights, as well as volunteering in a Spanish nursery and travel.
Adaptable, resilient and hard working, ensuring work is always done to a high standard and to schedule regardless of any obstacles or difficulties that may arise
Very sociable and has a love for working in a team, creating strong interpersonal bonds in order to create a positive sociable and hardworking environment
