Hola!

I am a passionate food enthusiast with a degree in Food Science and Technology. I love exploring the world of gastronomy, especially transforming food through Fermentation (because who doesn't love a good jar of something bubbling away in the kitchen?).
My journey has led me to gain quite knowledge about a wide range of fermented foods: from sauerkraut to kimchi, tempeh to koji, miso, as well as beverages like Kefir, Kombucha, Jun, and Sweet Briar, that are always with me in my nomadic lifestyle - they my little kids.

Recently, I’ve been dedicating myself to studying herb identification, to combine this passion with cooking through wild food foraging. I love experimenting with new recipes and believe that cooking is a powerful way to connect with nature and people.
I have become increasingly curious about gardening practices - recently I helped some friends establish a food forest. I’m eager to dive deeper into the principles of permaculture, I am reading some books about it, but I am keen to put into practice, learn and share, such as the knowledge I have with essential oils, which for years have been my academic focus, both for health reasons, and to preserve food.

I also engage in creative activities like making baskets and feather earrings. I am naturally curious, always looking for new ways to explore what surrounds me. My attitude is always positive and solution-oriented. I’ve just returned from grape harvesting in France and olive picking in Tuscany, where I lived in community and always tried to be as communicative as possible (which is my polite way of saying I love to talk). I am an empathetic person who loves being outdoors and practicing yoga.
For some time now, I’ve wanted to dive into learning Spanish, which resonates with me. I’m currently learning the basics but would love to do an immersion experience and engage in a language exchange with Italian!

Some last interests that I feel express myself are.. Climbing, Reggae music, good movies, and vintage flea markets!

Quais são suas habilidades?

I worked as a quality control and research and development for a company that used byproducts of vegetables transforming industries as ingredients, so I used my cooking skills to create :D
I did a master's degree in circular economy of foodstuffs, so I can share ideas about recycling and giving new life to what otherwise would be waste.
I can help with the garden, I am keen on having my hands dirty.
I am a yoga student and I babysit, so I have no problems with kids or animals at all. I like to make stuff with clay, I am empathic, and love connections with people.

In the past years, I have been a nerd of video games/movies/. In recent years, since I moved out from my house and studied a lot, I started enjoying the outdoors more, even tho I am still a lover of playing cards inside.
