Marco stayed with us for a few weeks, combining his remote work with helping out through Workaway, and everything went absolutely perfectly. He was a real pleasure to have around — always super neat, respectful, and kind. His communication was excellent from the very first message and throughout his entire stay. He always checked in, was clear and
… read more organized, and really easy to coordinate with.
One of the things that stood out most about Marco was his sense of responsibility. Even though he was juggling his remote job, he always managed to be punctual and fully committed to the tasks at hand. He approached every task with care and dedication, and you could tell he genuinely wanted to help.
Marco is also incredibly proactive — he didn’t wait to be told what to do but would notice things and take initiative in a thoughtful, respectful way. His attention to detail is excellent, and he’s very solution-oriented, always looking for ways to improve or simplify processes. On top of that, he’s calm, positive, and brings a great vibe to any environment.
Other great qualities: trustworthy, self-motivated, discreet, efficient, adaptable, team player, tidy, open-minded, reliable, and resourceful.
I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better Workaway experience, and I would 100% recommend Marco to any future host. Whether you're looking for someone to help with hands-on tasks or more tech-oriented projects, or even someone to just bring good energy to your space, Marco is a great choice. I’d be happy to welcome him back anytime!

What stands out the most about Dejan is his chill personality and calmess. He always goes above and beyond expectations, applying effective and organized methods to ensure flawless work. His is always positive, reliability, and problem-solving skills have been invaluable to the team, creating a harmonious and efficient workspace.

I had the pleasure of staying with Alba and her son for 5 weeks in her house. During that time I did cleaning and all kinds of other chores around Albas home and in the other house where mainly surfers rented a room.
I can truly say that these weeks belong to the happiest times of my life. Alba was from the very first moment on the best host I
… read more could have imagined. Being very friendly, always willing to help me and at the same time very clear in her communication. These qualities made it so easy and joyful working and living with her. She made me feel at home from the first moment on and totally trusted me in everything I did. While staying in her house I was allowed taking part in the yoga classes she taught. I could experience the joyful and loving atmosphere between Alba and her students. Everybody felt totally relaxed and comfortable with her way of teaching and with her warm hearted being. I can truly recommend being with her as a workawayer in the incredible beautiful village and beach of Caleta de Famara.
