Hi I'm a hard working female and an experienced traveller, looking for new experiences, new connections and new adventures..

I'm very blessed that I now have the freedom to travel as much as I like but rather than just go endlessly sight seeing I want to get involved in projects with like minded people. I want to contribute to local communities and put my skills and experience to good use. Hopefully I can learn new skills and make new friends along the way.

I've spent many years splitting my time between renovating or building houses and then going travelling on the proceeds. So I can do most property building, refurbishment, maintenance, landscaping and gardening. I'm enthusiastic, fit and strong and up for getting stuck in to pretty much anything that needs doing. I'm happy to work alone or in a team and can be trusted to get my tasks done unsupervised. I'm diligent and resourceful.

I had a holiday let that slept 15 so I know what's needed regarding bookings, looking after guests, changeovers, cleaning and managing resources.

Before that I spent a few years working as an IT Development Project Manager in the city. It was very rewarding but I left to pursue a heart rich life not a cash rich life.

I've travelled all over the world working, volunteering, backpacking, hiking, sailing, paragliding, diving, kayaking, on spiritual retreats, motorbiking and just generally exploring.

I lived on a narrow boat for a couple of years and travelled all over the huge network of UK canals and rivers. So I know how to live off grid and preserve resources. It was fascinating living off grid, travelling at maximum 4 miles per hour miles from anywhere.

I worked for a couple of years in Florida (in a bar) and 18 months in Bangkok (corporate training and marketing). I've also volunteered in Portugal, New Zealand, Spain, India, Indonesia, Mexico, Honduras and The Philippines - mainly conservation, property maintenance & refurbishment, guest houses, retreats and animal welfare projects.

I worked at UK festivals for many years creating spaces and organising & running craft workshops.

I love animals, camping, hiking, kayaking, cooking, motorbiking, diving, yoga, nature, gardening and sunsets.

I've done many solo long distance treks, usually with my camp on my back.. I also love to go on kayaking and wild camping trips as well as fasting and yoga retreats.

I'm aware I might be a bit older than some applicants but I am definitely fit, energetic, enthusiastic, sociable and adaptable. I love all outdoor activities, getting stuck into a project and beinguseful. xx

I've been taking Spanish lessons in Mexico so I can just about get by. I'm continuing my Spanish education as I travel around Central America...I'd love to volunteer in an environment where I can improve my Spanish.
