Hello !

We are Aline and Amaury, a Belgian couple arrived in Canada in February after 5 amazing months in New Zealand.
Passionate about nature and outdoor activities, particularly hiking, we love taking on new challenges and getting involved in diverse projects.

We spent our summer in the Okanagan Valley for the season of cherry picking and now grapes harvesting.
We are looking for a place to stay and experience the Canadian winter in British Columbia area for the winter.

A little about us :

Aline:
Hi ! I’m Aline, an architect specializing in private residential and sustainable public projects. I have a keen sense of design, a creative approach, and a passion for organization and minimalism. I love drawing, crafting, and diving into DIY and creative hobbies. I’m not afraid to handle tools and have contributed to projects like creating event decor. I also describe myself as a gourmet people and really like cooking especially when it’s for a sharing meal !
In addition, I was part of a community garden for three years, where I learned the basics of gardening and permaculture. These experiences have allowed me to combine my passion for design with my love of nature in concrete projects.

Amaury:
I’m Amaury, a project manager in solar energy and a renewable energy enthusiast. I’m skilled in managing residential and industrial projects with a solutions-oriented mindset. I have practical expertise in electricity, carpentry, and DIY, as well as experience designing autonomous off-grid systems.
I’ve been a Scout since the age of six, eventually becoming a section leader. Those years instilled in me a deep love for nature, group living, and adventure. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, cycling, photography, and have a real passion for Excel. I’m also very comfortable with IT and new technologies.

Together:
We’re skilled in manual work, using tools and machinery, and handling general home maintenance—from the garage to the attic, and even the garden. Together, we’ve completed many projects, including converting our car for camping in Belgium. And now our campervan here in Canada !
We are mindful of our environmental impact in daily life and take great care in everything we undertake. Enthusiastic, resourceful, and versatile, we thrive in team environments where we can put our organizational skills to use.
Through this experience, we hope to meet new people, exchange ideas, learn more about the local culture, and improve our English.

  We try to eat less meat. So we are almost vegetarian. But we can manage with meat as we are flexitarian
