Roc came two weeks to our House this Summer. He was very communicative and friendly. We had very nice discussion, the children still remember him and he helped us around the house.

Armando and I stayed with Jitschke and Hakan for a week this summer, and it was definitely one of the best exchange experiences we've had so far. The harmonious atmosphere of the house and the surrounding nature allowed us to experience a period of total harmony with the world. I hope everyone gets the chance to volunteer with them, as they are truly loving and incredibly genuine people. The work is perfectly structured. We worked from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with an hour break, had lunch together every day (Hakan made gluten-free bread for me every day), and enjoyed their company, chatting and spending time together. It was a truly meaningful experience, and I hope everyone can have a similar one.

We absolutely loved our time at the villa with Ben and Emma! Even though it was the low season, there was still so much to do and experience. We’re always up for a challenge and Ben was super supportive, always happy to teach us something new or FIGURE things OUT together in a really relaxed, collaborative way. One of our favorite things was joining their tours — we had such a great time kayaking, hiking, and exploring the beauty of Montenegro. Their story really inspired us too, especially as fellow travel lovers — it felt so easy and natural to connect with them. We’d recommend this Workaway in a heartbeat to anyone who loves nature, good company, and trying something new. Thanks again for everything, Ben and Emma! We love you and miss you!

Beh, andare ad aiutare Iris e Keni e stato un piacere e stato come lavorare a casa propria, c'erano compiti da fare e si facevano dopo aver concordato come farli. L'attrezzatura non mancava e Kenn seeeempre disponibile al dialogo ed ad aiutarti. Iris che dire semplicemente dolcissima e un piacere averla attorno. Per quanto riguarda i ragazzi, devo dire che tutti i genitori vorrebbero dei figli così, umili e affidabili con dei sani obbiettivi. In definitiva consiglio a chiunque di andarli a visitare senza indugio. L'unica postilla negativa e che il loro gatto e troppo sulle sue 🤣🤣. Ciao amici vi auguro tutto il bene possibile.

Eline was a lovely host with three amazing full of energy dogs way to many cute sheep and two big old piggies who really loved their food 😂 This being our first work away,we had no idea what to expect or how things worked, Eline was amazing in quickly helping us figure it out she was a great first host. The work we did was suited perfectly to our skill sets,Eline never asked us to do work we could not do. There was a large group of us during our stay and Eline was already ready with a plentiful warm meal at the end of the day with good conservation around the dinner table. At the end of our stay Eline dropped us off at the train station with a warm hug good bye and best of wishes for our travels ahead. Thank you Eline for taking a chance on us and giving us a lovely experience.

I stayed 2 weeks and had such a wonderful time . I would reccomend to anyone who enjoys being outside , around animals and having fun with kids. Beautiful location and comfy Cosy home. Work is as described , clear hours and communication make it easy to find your own work day balance . I felt very welcomed and comfortable in this home and beata took me to see some beautifulplaces nearby too. , I hope I can come back again one day i am really gratefull for the experience.

I stayed two weeks at Sylvia's place and can highly recommend it. She was a wonderful host and made me feel very welcome. The work was varied—gardening, weeding, painting, and cleaning—and never too heavy. I especially enjoyed taking care of the chickens and horses. Sylvia is very social, and we had many good conversations during my stay. Her three dogs and two cats bring so much life and warmth to the house—each animal has such a beautiful soul. On top of that, Sylvia's curries were absolutely amazing! Overall, Sylvia struck me as a generous, open-minded, and kind person. It was a lovely and enriching experience that I would happily recommend to others.

We spent two wonderful weeks with Marco in Turkey and we would like to express our deep gratitude for his hospitality and kindness. From the very first day we felt at home. The room was very comfortable and we had our own private shower, which made our stay especially convenient. Every day Marco prepared delicious and healthy meals from the products of his own garden, it was incredible! Marco even taught us about making wine and cooking seafood, which was a really unique experience. Our main task was painting the villa in Marmaris. The work was simple, and we could organize our days freely, so everything felt easy and stress-free. On the weekend we went with Marco to his house in Datça. There we swam at a deserted beach, enjoyed the beauty of nature, and even tried spearfishing. Marco is a very generous, open-hearted and kind person, with whom it is both interesting and pleasant to spend time. We definitely recommend this Workaway experience to all travelers and once again thank Marco for everything! 🙏✨

We had such an amazing month living with Rei san and Phoebe san, we miss them both. Rei san is a very kind host, and went out of his way to introduce us to people and provide opportunities us to have meaningful and unique experiences while we were staying with him. The working arrangements were very fair and reasonable, and the work was often enjoyable in itself.

Ruby is an amazing girl. She always full energy , very easy going , she help us a lot with our renovation works. Also we spend very nice time together with the others volunteers . 100% recommended All the best hope to see you soon again

Elisabeth es una chica increíble ha estado con nosotros varias semanas y todo ha sido estupendo. Habla un español perfecto, siempre con mucha energía y con una sonrisa. Nos ha ayudado mucho en nuestra casa y hemos compartido muy buenos momentos juntos con el resto de voluntarios. Es una persona muy activa, social y a la vez tranquila. I really don't know where to start to describe how incredible my experience has been at the hostel. I loved every second here and I will forever be grateful for it. I've met so many people from all over the world, made a lot of friends and unforgettable memories. The managers (Christina and Dawson) were the best coworkers ever, always there for help, and Ole (the owner) is an amazing guy. All three of them made me feel home from the very first moment I stepped in the hostel. The other volunteers have a super special place in my heart too, I found true friends to have fun and work with at the same time. The work at the hostel is nothing crazy, just general housekeeping and making beds (and checking the chicken eggs). I had plenty of time to travel around Alaska, both by myself and with hostel guests. Not only the vibe is fantastic, I also had the privilege to use the sauna, the sensory deprivation tank and join hikes around for free. If I wasn't already clear enough, I had one the best times of my life here at the hostel, and I couldn't be more thankful for it. Thank you guys, looking forward to coming back next year <3

Jack stayed with us for a little over a week, and we were so glad to have him here. He brought great energy to the group — always friendly, enthusiastic, and ready to help. He enjoyed all the tasks and met them with positivity, whether it was physical work or something quieter. He’s also strong and capable, and handled heavy lifting with no problem! He enjoyed our place and his enjoyment made us happy. We hope the road ahead brings him many more good connections!

Paul has a beautiful home that he invites you into. You have your own private space with a pretty view of the backjard. He has an interesting sense of humor that often made us laugh. He is a true artist that loves to play the flute as often as he can. We helped him in decluttering the home and mowing the large patch of land behind his house. If you like you can join Paul twice a day for a walk or a swim at the beach! Going to Brunswick is possible by foot so it's a really convenient and beautiful location. Thanks for a great time Paul!

Liza and Louis are a lovely French couple with great energy and warm smiles. They were always positive, helpful, and easy to talk to. Having them here brought such a good vibe to the place. I really enjoyed their company and would love to see them again someday.

Clara stayed with us for four months, from June to September. Her main responsibilities included delivering and collecting scooters, quads and buggies from hotels, the airport and other locations. Also, preparing rental contracts with the customers and giving them safety instructions. In addition, she stepped in as a tour guide in the guided quadbike activities that we organise, showing visitors around the island. Clara quickly adapted to the work and was dependable and willing to help whenever needed, throughout the summer. She has a positive attitude and good communication skills. Beyond her work, Clara became a friend to us. We enjoyed so many moments together casually chatting and sharing our thoughts and experiences. What's more, she was truly interested in discovering the local way of life and was very active in local social activities. We are grateful for her help and for the time that we shared. We wish her all the best in her future travels and look forward to seeing her again in Santorini.

It was a joy to host Mefi and Edu! They brought kind and steady energy into our home. We shared good conversations, good work, and good time in the kitchen together. They were always thoughtful and ready to help, and they met each task with care and attention. It was especially meaningful to share their National Day with them — we felt lucky to learn from each other and enjoy that moment together. We wish you a safe and happy journey ahead. Bea and Mayra were so much fun to have around! We laughed a lot together—they were always making jokes and keeping the mood positive. I really appreciated their great attitude and the way they enjoyed every bit of their time here. It made me happy too. I truly hope to see them again someday!

Allie and Vanessa were super friendly and helpful guests. Allie is an incredibly hard-working guy who finished my sauna project, even working for hours under the hot sun. And don’t forget, Vanessa is truly elegant—so be sure to treat her with the respect she deserves! I really enjoyed having them here and would gladly host them again anytime.

Eric and Jules were a wonderful couple from Canada—friendly, positive, and full of great energy. They showed so much love to my dog Phoebe and kindly helped out with my woodworking space. I truly appreciated their kindness and enthusiasm, and I’d be delighted to host them again anytime.
