Christina stayed with us for three weeks and was a great help in many areas. She is very energetic, independent, and always starts working early with a positive attitude. She did excellent work in the garden, organizing different areas and painting the fence with care and good results. Christina is also a very good cook and great company to have around. Friendly, easy to talk to, and fitting well into the daily life here. Overall, a reliable and motivated workawayer that I can warmly recommend to other hosts.

iris stayed her due to bad weather in the erea, she was on her way to an other workaway host. she worked well in the gaden. we went fishing, and made good food. she is a spirited and kind person that showed great interest in the town and life here.

We were truly happy to meet and host Pia. She's a cheerful and positive girl. While at home, although sometimes a bit of a mutterer, she immediately understood our needs and helped us in the best way possible. She has excellent skills, and I wish her all the best in life.

I had the pleasure of spending two wonderful weeks with Guido and his family. From the very first moment, I felt comfortable and truly welcome. I was warmly embraced as part of the family and quickly became a part of their daily life. The two children are incredibly kind, curious, and open-minded. Guido and Livia were always there with great tips and helpful recommendations, which allowed me to make the most of my free time and enjoy a variety of activities. Their warm-hearted nature and support made my stay a very positive and enriching experience. I’m truly grateful for the lovely time we shared, and I can highly recommend staying with this wonderful family!

I did my first Workaway with Ania and Dominik, and I am really happy I chose them. They welcomed me warmly. Dominik even picked me up from the nearby city since it is difficult to reach the place by public transport. When I arrived, they helped me set up my tent, provided a comfortable mattress, and also set up a tarp above the tent. The location is amazing, next to a forest where you can relax, enjoy nature, and see the animals. Ania and Dominik are wonderful people from whom you can learn a lot and have great conversations. The work was interesting and varied, involving tasks I had never done before. I helped Dominik transport manure and spread it on the field, load a truck with cut branches, and drive it to unload, which was actually fun. The main project with Dominik was setting up a fence. It was very interesting and taught me how to do it myself. The food was incredible. It was my first time going two weeks without meat, but I did not miss it at all thanks to the fresh and delicious meals Ania and Dominik prepared. I especially miss their tomatoes because they were amazing. I highly recommend this place and Ania and Dominik. Thank you for an amazing experience :)

This is my very first Workaway experience, and it couldn't be better! I spent 16 hours flying there, and it was all worth it because this is the best experience I've ever had in my life. Regula helped me with everything, starting from writing a letter to support my visa application, until dropping me off at the train station when I was about to leave. Ursin also picked me up when I had just arrived in Thun, and we always had insightful and fun conversations. They are both such kind and sweet people. Even though we had never met before, I felt like they treated me like their own family, and I’m really grateful and feel so lucky for that. I also truly felt well taken care of during my stay with them, until my soul felt at home. Their home is literally like pinterest, with the best view, just like a 5star Airbnb, and they even decorate my room so lovely! All of the tasks were easy and fun! They showed me everything I needed to know about Switzerland, and I’ve learned so much. We went shopping together, thrifting, cooking, gardening, sharing stories, and I will never forget our coffee sessions in the pinterest corner. Regula always cooked delicious dishes—I was so happy when I tried Raclette for the first time! I really wish I could've stayed longer and come back in the future. Thank you for this incredible experience! I wanted to discover new cultures, and I wasn't disappointed! Throughout my stay, I was able to see the new school develop. The children are so endearing. But so are all the members of this foundation! I had the honor of sharing moments of life with Ally's family, a wonderful family! Thank you for the welcome and the excellent food! Thank you to all of you, John, Ally, Emma, and Abdul, for the little trips with the other volunteers to discover this beautiful country. (Abdul, the best taxi driver) I met so many wonderful people! Sonia y Miguel me han recibido muy bien en su casa, me sentí muy cuidada durante mi estadía. Estuve 5 días allí y colaboré con las tareas del jardín principalmente, hemos podido acordar sin incovenientes horarios y tareas a realizar. Me guiaron sobre lugares a recorrer en Buenos Aires, medios de transporte, etc. Son excelentes anfitriones y personas muy cálidas. Les deseo lo mejor en todos sus proyectos!!!

I just wanted to say a big thank you for all the help you’ve given us — especially with the household and the tough gardening tasks! Oh, and the way you've played with the kids, so much fun, they love you:) You’ve made such a difference! What really stands out, though, is the way you do it all with such kindness and a great attitude. You’re always smiling, always willing to help, which really brings a good vibe to everyone around you. We’re super grateful to have had you around — seriously, thank you! Hopefully we see us again:)

This was a great experience in Alexandria! Adham was very kind host, as soon as I arrived he took me to the place where I was going to stay, then he showed me the neighborhood and helped me to exchange some dollars, at the end he invited me for a delicious mango juice. I have to say that this is one of the best places I had stayed in Egypt so far, it was low season so I had the whole place for me, I helped the cleaning lady to wash the blankets and leave themi n the terrace to dry, but it was for a couple of hours a day and then I could have time off to discover the city.. Adham helped me to arrive to different places I wanted to visit, for sure a great host!! if you have the opportunity to stay with him, don't miss it you are going to love everything!! thank you Adham it was great to meet you!!

I spent a month at Matty's in Sunnydale and had a great time taking care of the dogs and helping with gardening and painting. He trusted me to work on my own at my own pace and I enjoyed the independence and solitude. The log cabin I stayed in was large and spacious but toasty at night with the wood stove going. The outdoor shower and the "house inside the house" were much admired by neighbours and I was glad to be able to see a lot of designs and learn a lot of practical considerations for far-north off-grid living. Thanks again for your hospitality and stay warm!

Lukáš and Martin stayed and worked with us for two weeks, helping with various maintenance tasks such as painting and cleaning using water power tools. They are both young, positive, and easy-going, and they quickly adapted to new tasks. Their work quality was good, and they showed a clear willingness to learn and improve. They are fast learners and take pride in doing a proper job. Some tasks took a bit longer to complete, but the end results were of good quality, which is appreciated. One area for improvement would be to ask more questions at the beginning of a task to ensure full understanding, and to take a bit more initiative to start working independently when possible. Overall, Lukáš and Martin were pleasant to have around, contributed well during their stay, and I can recommend them to other hosts. With a bit more confidence and initiative, they will become excellent workawayers.

We spent one wonderful week on Kerry’s farm, and it was an unforgettable experience. Kerry is an amazing host — full of joy, energy, and kindness, always happy to share her knowledge about farm life, wildlife, and the beautiful surroundings. We really enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and we also helped by painting the outdoor furniture, which was a fun and relaxing task. The farm is full of lovely animals — cows, sheep, chickens, and dogs — that make the place even more special. It was a great opportunity to learn, laugh, and experience true country life. Thank you, Kerry & family for welcoming us so warmly — we’ll always remember this week with you!

Jara was a delight from arrival, getting along with everyone. She assisted in all we asked for and did extras that needed doing without being asked. Always welcome to return!

We were lucky enough to have this incredibly energetic group of young women join us this summer. They absolutely got into things and mucked in from the moment they arrived. We cannot thank them enough for all the grafting they did in the short two weeks they stayed with us. They got involved with everything, no task was too small or too big, amazing how strong they were when we were moving sand ) Their social and community skills were awesome, shared stories, cooked great meals and sat quietly reading and doing good art. We want to also thank them for not being too upset when we recommended a hike that we thought was an hour but turned into a 5 hr one through wild forests. We would recommend and hope they visit us again sometime in the future. Thanks so much )

It was great having Chloe as part of the family. She adapted very well, and my daughter loved playing with her. She's very active when needed and very balanced and calm, always patient. 1000% recommended!

Filipe est venu à la maison que 5 jours, il nous a aidé dans différents boulots que nous lui avons proposé. Il est calme et s’accommode facilement. Il parle plusieurs langue et prépare facilement un plat pour tous. Merci à toi.

Linn and her friend Jenni spent a few days doing quite demanding work tackling the brambles on the orange trees. They were adaptable, friendly and worked hard at transforming the trees in a short time. We also spent some lovely time together at the sea and over meals. I can highly recommend them to any future host . Thank you Linn and Jenni for the help and wonderful singing.
