Zak es un tio genial, se adapto desde el primer dia a nuestro ritmo de trabajo siendo siempre un valor añadido. Tambien hemos podido ir a un festival y compartir con otros voluntarios espacios mas divertidos. Los animales le han querido mucho y el tambien a ellos. Ya sabes que aqui tienes tu casa!

We had such an amazing time with Kui and his Team. The work was very diverse, super fun and not too hard and he accommodated us well too! We felt right at home and had a wonderful experience. We are really happy that we were able to join such a great project and it was a lot of fun, working with the kids all over the country. Kui is a great host and made everything possible for us that we could ask for. It was a great experience that we can truly recommend for everyone. Thank you so much to Kui and his team for giving us an amazing and unforgettable time and experience!

We had a wonderful experience with Nic and her family! All of them are such nice people and welcomed us warmly. We felt right at home and had an amazing time there. The work isn't super hard and we could help in many areas around the shop and with marketing so it was a nice balance! Currently there is a construction in front of their place, which is why it's a little bit crowded but it's not their fault and it didn't bother us much. We are really happy to be able to meet all these amazing people working there and it was truly an unforgettable stay in Luang Prabang, thanks to them! We wish you all the best and will come back when we ever get the chance too!

This is a wonderful place surrounded by breathtaking nature. The owners are amazing, kind-hearted people, as everyone is working there — warm, welcoming, and supportive. I stayed as a yoga instructor at the very beginning of the season, so there weren't many guests yet, but I still had a great time and really enjoyed the experience. Thank you for everything!

Despite it was her first time working away, she's been amazingly helpful and a fantastic company! We adjusted together some procedures to make life easier for the Workers who will come in the future, worked to start the spring gardens, moved tons of hay for mulching and runned some events. She also looked after the dogs and the cats, took care of the campsite and cooked beautifully meanwhile i was still busy in working in the gardens! We have been really lucky to have her with us this month, I also have to underline the fact that she is been really committed, bringing to the end each task you give her! We also had of course our discussions that helped both of us to better understand our priorities and helped me, moreover, to be more clear in giving tasks and manage the help coming from Workawayers. I can see a bright future for you Rowena! Thank you for your fantastic help!

Un lugar y un entorno tal como uno lo imagina en las alturas del valle sagrado de los Incas, una anfitriona aún más humana de lo que uno puede imaginar, encuentros e intercambios brillantes que nunca terminan con la llegada de los voluntarios y el amor desbordante de todos estos adorables perros que son el punto central de la hacienda. Nunca podré agradecer lo suficiente a Luis por crear este remanso de paz y serenidad, y por esta oportunidad única de haber experimentado momentos eternos allí.

I found difficult conditions because of war and my body pain. Here I found a special owner and a team that seems more like a big family. Everyone helped me even more than I helped them. The help is needed especially in the weekend so is not easy to respect the times of help we can read here in Workaway. But for sure I had a lot of free time and no one push to work like a job, everyone are so kind here. But for sure when it is full of guests it's better to be helpful and fast, is not a request, but is a way to be part of the team. My help was to take care on buffet of every meal. For sure you will not feel hungry here. City is not close, 1km of walk and a tuk tuk is needed, even if there is a lot of free time is difficult to spend it in the city. But if you want to realax in a peaceful place is the best. This what I did and I stayed two weeks. The owner is a special person with really nice principles on life and his hospitality is something really special. Try to learn from him and you will became a better person for sure. English is a problem here, not easy to communicate with all the other. But you can feel a really lovely atmosphere. Thank you everyone

A last-minute request that turned into a truly beautiful connection. Jonn and Keelie were not only a huge help, but also just amazing, kind-hearted people. Super respectful, easy to be around, and so great with our kids — it felt like having friends over rather than helpers. They picked up the work quickly and got things done without needing too many directions, always with good energy and care. And on top of that, they cooked some delicious meals! We shared lovely moments together — at the beach, chatting around a nice italian granite, enjoying the little things. Thank you both for everything. You’re welcome back anytime. Absolutely loved our time here! A very relaxed, tranquil place with a warm welcome. The staff made us feel at home immediately, the work in the garden was very therapeutic and the evening meals cooked for us were delicious! The accommodation was cosy and the general location was lovely, with fantastic views of Mt. Taranaki and some amazing hikes in the area. I think our stay here was as relaxing for us as for the guests at the centre, would definitely recommend!

Nunca podré agradecer lo suficiente a la asociación y a todos sus miembros, empezando por sus fundadores, por crear este lugar único, y por esta increíble oportunidad de haber vivido allí estos momentos mágicos, tal como los imaginamos y deseamos, la Humanidad en su estado puro y en todas sus formas. I was so lucky to have Carolyne visit here for a week. We had fun skipping some meals, going for walks in nature, lovely conversation, being creative, dreaming. Carolyne helped with liming the walls outside, restoring and painting some old chairs, picking and drying a lot of dandelion flowers from the garden, open to help with any random task around the house. Kind and generous, curious and open-minded, a creative artist of photography and music, I found great company and can recommend her to any host here on Workaway :)

We had such a great time staying with this amazing family! The food was insanely good (especially the delicious bread), everyone was super friendly and made us feel right at home, and our sleeping spot was super cozy. Thanks a lot for everything – we would definitely recommend this work away to our friends (:

Alex! What a pleasure to have him here with us. Although he was only with us for a short period of time, it felt like he'd been part of our fam for months already. Alex did a great job, thanks to his attention to detail everything always looked spotless, and we knew we could totally trust him with keeping everything up to standard. Alex is fun to be around, open, friendly, always up for a chat and got along well with everyone instantly. We would welcome him back here without hesitation and hope to see him again in the future.

Thank you both for being such hardworking, engaging and lovely Workaways. Freja and Frida worked in the olive grove clearing a large section of pruned branches, separating smaller twigs from large branches. The smaller material was used to create 'insect highways' inbetween the trees. They also helped transport and pack lots of straw, and lay water piping around recently established rows of lavender. We enjoyed discussions over dinner and insights into Danish culture. Enjoy the rest of your European travels and you are always very welcome back here.

Monique was a wonderful addition to our project! She brought great energy. She painted two beautiful murals that we absolutely love and will cherish, and will always remind us of her. Monique was respectful, outgoing, and fully engaged in all our outreach activities, participating with genuine enthusiasm. We truly enjoyed having her with us and would gladly welcome her back anytime!

Jess is such a gem! She came to join us for 6 weeks and ended up becoming such an important part of our hostel family, staying for 4 months! Jess did an amazing job, she is reliable, hardworking, friendly and was just generally a great asset to our team. Her, friendly, calm, down to earth personality makes her so easy to be around and she has such a natural way of making people feel welcome and at ease in her presence. We miss having her around and can certainly recommend Jess to any future host!

Un grand Merci a Olivier qui m'a bien aidé Olivier est Respectueux, Bienveillant, Honnête et en Conscience, se que j'ai beaucoup apprécier. Je n'ai eu aucun problème de drague et de frustration avec lui (je suis une femme seul donc c'est souvent le problème). Au niveau de la communication avant son arrivé, il n'y a pas eu de blabla inutile et quand il dit qu'il vient, il vient; et il répond toujours même pour dire non se qui est très appréciable. Olivier est curieux de tout, j'ai été ravi de prendre du temps par si par là pour lui faire rencontrer, visiter ... On a beaucoup travailler aussi, ce qui a permis une belle avancer. Olivier est sans aucun doute le workawayer le plus respectueux que j'ai pu accueillir et cela était très appréciable de plus c'est un bon travailleur et avec lui le chantier a bien avancer (c'est sur qu'a 2 ou plus tout avance plus vite) J'ai donc eu plaisir a partager avec lui Merci, Merci et bon voyage dans le temps !! hihi !! We had the pleasure of hosting this lovely young couple in our home in Budapest for one week. From the very beginning, they were kind, respectful, and eager to help. One of our main goals was for our children to be exposed to Spanish, and they did a wonderful job playing and communicating with them in Spanish every day. The kids loved spending time with them and quickly became very fond of them. They also helped a lot in our garden, showing initiative and working efficiently. It was clear that they genuinely cared about doing a good job and contributing to our household. Communication with them was always smooth and easy. They brought a positive energy to our home and fit in seamlessly with our family. We truly enjoyed getting to know them and spending time together. We would happily welcome them back anytime and highly recommend them to other hosts.

I absolutely loved having Ailina & Felix at my place. Besides the objective part, that the result of their high output is a huge amount of accomplished work, and on the other hand they are very low maintenance, they brought the touch of humanity i didn’t even know i was missing so much. My favorite features were that they were attentive, thoughtful, solution-oriented, hard-working and kind, even though among all the positive traits it’s really hard to choose those 5 top ones. It was easy to establish what needed to be done and set up a working rhythm. The 'how' they figured out by themselves, after giving careful consideration to all given and perceived input. Their knowledge and the enthusiasm to find out everything is remarkable 😃 The plant picking and delicious cooking were an unexpected delight to spice up our heartwarming conversations. I count myself as truly lucky to have been on their path, as the traces they left behind will be with me for a very long time: in my garden, the built water system 😉, as well as my soul. A very deep gratitude for your coming over and wish you the best of adventures on your journey onward!

I'd been here from the 2nd to the 11th of May. I had a great experience here. The host, Sepala is kind and tolerant. When I couldn't catch what he said, he intended to listen and talk patiently by a phone translator. From the 3rd to the 6th, his family had been to his wife house. Then their daughter got sick. They had a hard time during their stay. I could manage to live smoothly by myself thanks to his brother who lives in Canada. He always supported me by Whatsapp. Their daughter had got well gradually. She is so cute. She called me grandpa and kind to me. The work was simple. I digged up tall weeds by a hoe and cleaned banana field. I harvested beans and cucumbers. But hot weather damaged me a little and then Sepala told me that you took rest please. I was eased his words. Whenever the work finished, I went to the next small town Thanamalwila to have lunch by bus. Small adventure for me. It was my routine. Sepala took me to Kataragama that is famous for its big shrine and temple by his Tuktuk. I prayed saw the elephant there. After that Sepala invited me to his mother's house that is far from Thanamalwila. It was so nice drive.mountains, lake, rice fields sugar cane fields.do beautiful. His mother is gentle and gracious. She welcomed me. Sepala and his wife(I called her Mama) thank you so much both of you. Though I didn't help you enough, you admitted me. I appreciate you so much. I love you, Mama and Ganeesha.
