  My name is Oriana, I own a 2-hectares property close to Lake Maggiore, where I keep horses, sheep and chickens. The area is in the countryside, but close to villages and at 1 hour drive from Milan, Turin and Switzerland and just 10 minutes drive from the lake. Beside the main house there is an independent double room with a private bathroom, facing a covered veranda. It is on the ground floor and has TV, heating, air conditioning, shower and wi-fi.
  
  I offer room and board in a peaceful countryside setting to a person who loves animals, enjoys a simple and genuine rural lifestyle, and knows how to ride horses. I'm looking for a cheerful, responsible, and respectful person who would enjoy sharing authentic moments with me—such as horse rides through the surrounding countryside, caring for animals, and helping with small everyday tasks typical of country life. If you're interested, please write and tell me a bit about yourself, your experience with animals, and your horse riding skills.
  
  It is important that the 'worawayer' has personal accident insurance for any injuries that might occur while horse riding.
  
  I have two very shy cats, so unfortunately I cannot welcome any other animals.
  
  Since I don’t speak English very well, I would like the opportunity to improve it, and in exchange, I can teach Italian.
  
  The kind of help I need would be maintenance and cleaning of equestrian equipment, some gardening and housekeeping/tidying up.
  
  25 hours a week are enough and rest days will be given mainly during the week rather than weekends, but I offer and require at the same time some flexibility about this. There is a bike available to explore the area and I can also drive you to the train station if you want to visit farther places.
  
  Please be aware that no requests for Italian citizenship can be considered and I cannot provide vegan/strictly vegetarian meals.
