Descrição
Our small farm is located in a very rural and quiet part of east Clare, in the west of Ireland (not too far from the beautiful cliffs of Moher). Our small farm contains many animals including; dogs, cats, horses and poultry. We are avid amateur gardeners and love working on our flowerbeds however we are currently re instating our poly tunnel too.
We love the outdoor life and working with nature and animals has always been part of our lives. There are so many different types of jobs on the farm from carpentry to cutting brambles, gardening , caring for the animals and so many more! Although weather/season dependent, there is always something to do.
Currently we are working on updating the farm and carrying out general repairs as well as building some new features. All of which we are looking for help with.
The spare room in our house is always welcome to any adventurer wanting to provide some help as well as share experiences and cultures.

With a multitude of knowledge about farming and animal care form my studies and life experience, I enjoy sharing this knowledge with you.

At the moment we are upgrading the farm by replacing fencing, general cleaning up of the yards, finishing projects and building some new and exciting structures. Help is required for all aspects of the farm however it is currently mainly focused on farm maintenance.
A mature attitude, genuine interest and common sense is all that is required.
Knowledge of tools and experience around animals is useful.

A spare room in a modern house with plenty of space.

There are lots of lakes and bogs here, it is a fisherman's and hiker's paradise. The nearest village Tulla is about 7Km away. Clare is widely known for its traditional music and our village is no different.
We will happily accommodate you when you want to plan a trip to the Burren, cliffs of moher etc. It is also a great location to easily access Galway, Connemara etc.

This was my first Workaway ever and with Trix it was very easy to get to know everything. The animals are lovely to new people and make it very hard on you to not fall in love with them.

Trix makes you feel at home from the very first moment. The house is big and comfortable, and you won't get bored there. You will notice the love she gives to her animals. If you stay long enough, you will learn a lot about dogs and horses, she is a great trainer. I had a lovely time in her house.
