  We are a friendly, open-minded german family living in a beautiful rural setting overlooking Lake Garda in Italy, surrounded by nature, olive groves and forests.
  
  We are looking for someone who enjoys a relaxed outdoorsy lifestyle, surrounded by nature and appreciates the peace and beauty of country life. We live in a small village, so if you love nature, fresh air and a slower pace of life rather than busy city life, you might feel right at home here!
  
  We are looking for support with everyday tasks in our house as well as occasional help in the garden and with our three children (5, 7 and 9 years old), for example picking them up from school once a week.
  
  We have been hosting au pairs and Workawayers for many years and enjoy welcoming people from different backgrounds into our home.
  
  We would be happy to host you for three months or longer and look forward to hearing from you! 💛

  Oportunidades de intercâmbio cultural e aprendizado

  As we Are a German Family, you can learn some German (when interested) while at the same time living in Italy and exploring the heritage and culture of this beautiful country.
  We are an educated family - we both studied natural sciences - I think you can benefit from our mindsets and our general lifestyle in many ways.
  We want to create an environment where our Workawayers can grow, learn new things, and become more independent. We encourage you to take initiative, bring in your own ideas, try things out for yourself, and take responsibility for your tasks.
  
  We had a very positive experience in Summer 2025 (May to September) with a 27 years old girl from Italy and our current german Work Awayer extended her planned stay from 3 from to 6 month and is leaving mid December 2026, when we all go back for Christmas holidays to Germany.
  
  There Are plenty of activities at Lake Garda like any kind of sports acitivities and social events. Having a car would makes everything much more easy, but you can also Walk down to the Lake (30 min.) and from there take a bus.

  I am looking for someone who supports me with the daily housekeeping (I have 3 children) - which is tidying up the house, fold clothes and sometimes spending some time with Children.
  
  We are looking for someone who is independent, responsible, and proactive. Someone who takes initiative and is able to recognise what needs to be done without always waiting for instructions (you will get a weekly schedule and we always talk and plan for the week together). We value mutual trust, open communication, and someone who is willing to learn, grow, and become more independent along the way.
  
  I am a yoga teacher and organise 4 yoga retreats in my house during the summer time from May to September, so I am also happy to have some company and support during the retreats. Our summers are quite busy, we have many guests coming over (family, friends, retreat guests) while the winter time is quite and cosy ;)

  Acomodação

  You get your one Beautiful room with a big wardrobe and a double bed, acces directly to the garden and view on the lake and a Shared bathroom - which is Mainly used only by yourself. The property is very large including olive terraces, forest and a beautiful big garden and house. We renovated the house for 4 years and put a lot of love into it - you can see it in every detail its all from natural stones and wood.
