My first Workaway experience in New Zealand with Virginia and Charles was just wonderful. Over the course of 8 days, I had the pleasure of assisting with gardening tasks and various odd jobs around the property, all while feeling like part of the family in very peaceful surroundings in the countryside.
One highlight was being included in their

I would highly recommend this Workaway opportunity to others, but having access to a car is essential due to the lack of public transportation in the area or/and places to have a walk around. Overall, my stay was nothing short of fantastic, and I'm thankful to Virginia for having patience with me and Charles for the history lessons and laughs.

It was lovely having Amelie her - she was a breath of fresh air. She was very organised, very disciplined and willing to take on new types of work. Learning very quickly and efficiently how to use a motorised weed eater. Cut back over grown plants in the wet land to make a path for later more detailed attention. I wish she could have stayed

I had the enormous pleasure to stay in Virginia & Charles’ farm for 2 weeks. They are really interesting, generous and welcoming people. I helped with a few different jobs there like cleaning gutters, weeding blackberries, helping with the maintenance of the 2nd house of the property and other stuffs. Hard work sometimes but it’s great to feel

It was an extremely rich experience for me to live that small period with then, to learn a little about life in a farm and, what I enjoyed the most, having so nice conversations with Virginia, Charles and their grandsons at dinner table. They are a multicultural family and have so much to share with workawayers.
I can’t thank you enough for having me!!!Só é possível entrar em contato com Workawayers com assinaturas ativas.

We really enjoyed our time with Virginia and Charles. They are excellent Workaway hosts, interesting people and good company. Steve was able to put his skills to good use on several carpentry tasks and I did lots of gardening and helped with a few domestic jobs in the house. We also had an opportunity to look around the local area in our time off,

Sue and Steve were with us for 2 weeks and they were a pleasure to have around. They did lots of useful stuff - things which had been pending for some months! Repaired styles, fences, dripping taps, mended chairs, room divider, lots of gardening, put in a rangehood. They were invaluable. We enjoyed sharing and swapping stories around the dinner

Thanks Virginia and Charles for an excellent almost-2 weeks. Varied work (gardening, clearing blackberry, processing nuts), good food and conversation, comfortable accommodation.
Thanks also for driving me into town (it's easier for workawayers who have a car as the farm is on a busy road with no bus service) and the the other help you

I had a perfect time at Virginia and Charles' place for my first workaway experience! It was nice to do different jobs every day (gardening, painting, cleaning, feeding the pigs...). Virginia & Charles were very welcoming and taught me a lot, we shared some nice dinners together. I slept in another house next to the main house in a comfortable

Charles, Virginia, Thank you so much for letting me stay with you through the month of June. You were my first stop in New Zealand, and you did a fabulous job helping me find a used car to travel the rest of the country with.

Virginia and Charles are very nice people.
We were at their farm for four weeks and had a great time. We harvested macadamia nuts and cut some trees.
We learned a lot from them.
Charles often told us great stories. The pigs are funny and cute. We always had different things to do. The work never was boring.

First of all: thank you, Virginia and Charles, for having us in your home and family.
We had a very nice time with them in their home. We stayed with them for two weeks. Virginia expects good and tough work, but we could handle it and I hope, we did a good job.
We were cutting a big tree and its branches, building a drain, cutting the hedge and

Virginia has lots of things to do on their farm and in our opinion, she was glad about some help.
We slept in a room outside of the main house, but it had everything you need and a seperate bathroom, too. During the afternoons, we stayed in the main house, played with their cute dog Jasmin or went into the city of Pukekohe.Só é possível entrar em contato com Workawayers com assinaturas ativas.
