We are a Jewish family living in the small ecotourism village of Ezuz in the beautiful Negev desert heights. We enjoy hosting and run a small family business which is 3 old buses converted into deluxe guest rooms. We have 9 children and 2 grandchildren (not all living at home) and we often have an open house hosting people in our local community for lessons and meals. So there is always a lot to do around the house.

We have space for 1 female volunteer because the accommodation is in a girls' house. It could suit a volunteer that is interested in experiencing being close to a family who are living a Torah- observant lifestyle. Tasks will include helping in the house with cleaning, laundry and cooking. There are also projects to do around the house and garden. The help requested is not in our family business.

My husband and I backpacked around the world for many years and met during our travels when we were working as scuba diving instructors in the Sinai. Our favorite part of travelling was meeting people, so when we settled down we opened our doors to hosting guests. We also enjoy gardening and have a garden that has vines and fruit trees that grow on recycled water from our home and guestrooms.

We have built an amazing room for a volunteer which has a beautiful view over an open desert valley. It suits someone who enjoys the quiet of the desert spaces, has positive energy and can pay attention to detail.

Ezuz is home to a small artistic and agricultural community of cool people.

Volunteering with our family is a good opportunity to taste Israeli culture and get to know Jewish family life from the inside.

We are a family with 9 children and 2 grandchildren so there is always a lot to do in the house and garden. We often have an open house hosting people from the local community for lessons and meals. Tasks include helping with laundry, cleaning, cooking, gardening, painting and other projects around the house.

We have built an amazing volunteer room overlooking the sunset over an open desert valley. There is a bathroom and a kitchen.

We provide our volunteer with a private room and 3 meals a day.

We live in a very cool artistic agricultural village consisting of 17 families in the middle of beautiful open desert. It is a wonderful area for walking, cycling and enjoying quiet time away from the bustle of the city. Some families here have travelers and Israeli young people working or volunteering with them, so one can find a good balance between helping out, taking time off to be quiet and interacting with other open-minded people.

Eyal And Avigail's home is a beautiful insight into Jewish family life and Israel culture. Ezuz is a truely magical place and the family is very welcoming. The accomodation is amazing as well! I helped around the house and cleaned the buses for guests. I learned a lot from Avigail. I would highly recommend this experience.
