  Together with my 18 yo daughter, I live on a beautiful mountainside overlooking the bridge over the river Ebro and the picturesque village of Benifallet.
  The village can be reached within 15 minutes' cycling or 30 minutes' walking and has a few shops and several bars with very friendly people. There is also a bus service to the larger town of Tortosa just 17 km away.
  
  On our finca, daily chores include taking care of the animals and building a solid vegetable garden.
  Besides these chores, I work online as a teacher and my daughter attends school in the city for four days.
  
  We enjoy the daily activities and the beautiful views from our terrace. Also, we love the connection with the inhabited world. We see the village lights at night and can listen in on the news broadcast during the day. We see the canal boat and hear the blissful sounds of festivals in the distance.
  The peace and space, but also the connection makes this the perfect place for us. Never completely cut off from the outside world and the possibility of visiting the village on foot offers us a lot of freedom.

  Ajuda

  Due to work, school and travel, we are short of extra hands. We are therefore looking for a woman who can help us with daily chores such as taking care of the animals, plants and vegetable garden, as well as filling water and various maintenance jobs. Every month, I am travelling for 1 or 2 weeks during which I do not want to and cannot leave my daughter alone with all the work that needs to be done.
  
  We have two dogs that live in our house and are treated as pets. Our two cats hang around the house all day and clearly let us know when they are hungry. The goats and chickens are cared for twice a day. The garden depends on the time of year. Planting, watering, weeding, Pest Control, harvesting and processing etc. Also, our house is off grid and water has to be pumped up and the solar system kept running.

  Acomodação

  You will have access to your own wooden camping pod.
  The pod is spacious enough for one person and has a composting toilet.
  There is a double bed and plenty of wardrobe space. An internet connection is also available.
  
  The pod is close to the main house, but offers plenty of options for privacy and quiet.
  The washing facilities are in the main house, which will be shared, as well as the kitchen.
  The meals, groceries, use of the car, etc. can be agreed upon, also because of the costs.

  It would be nice if you have a driving licence to take me to and from the airport. We are looking for a quiet and friendly person with an interest in nature, gardening, hiking, animals and enough own interests and initiatives.
  
  This is an ideal place for an elderly lady, someone working online or someone looking for a place for a longer period.
