  Hello volunteer friends!!
  My name is Gladys, I am a single mom, creative, friendly, compassionate, spiritual, visionary, adventurous, positive, a good mother, too hard-working and I was the pioneer in the Hostel concept, more than 40 years ago in the entire "Ruta Maya" , for which I have had the great blessing and opportunity to meet many people from all over the world of whom I feel very grateful and very fortunate to have lived all kinds of experiences from which I learned a lot and from all kinds of "good" lessons. and bad "during the same creation and long history of the hostel concept in union with my beloved children.
  Just now I am resuming my activities, now creating a new and beautiful project where everyone is welcome, to learn, unlearn and support each other within a warm, friendly, respectful, proactive, etc. environment, in contact with nature and gratitude .
  Where different activities that have to do with human and spiritual development will be carried out.
  I have had the great blessing of traveling to several countries in Asia, especially to India and Thailand where I learned many things, including massages, dynamic Osho meditations, and also in Mexico I continued learning, giving and unlearning day by day to be able to support those who need it.
  Now I am a grateful and harmonious woman of 62 years with 2 children already married who, thanks to life, have given me 4 wonderful grandchildren.
  But now my physical strength is decreasing notably, (because due to a serious accident in my youth, today I have problems in the spine, and etc.), however, the dreams and desires to continue creating and sharing new spaces and activities for people , tourists, "Travelers and citizens of the World", continue day by day. The adventurous and creative spirit never dies !!!!
  
  Here and Now my dream is to create with the help of the UNIVERSE and the beloved volunteers who join this project, each one contributing from their own experiences, physical abilities, life tools, psychological, spiritual, computational, administrative, etc., a place near the mountain in a "Magical Town". . , (as San Cristóbal de las Casas is considered), within an area of ​​approximately 800 square meters, where different types of meditations, massages, yoga, classes, workshops, ceremonies, retreats, conferences, etc. can be offered.
  So there is still much to do and share.
  The place already has a functional house, but it is necessary to adapt and create the different spaces and rooms where massages, classes or workshops can be given, etc.
  So it is also possible to create a small space for planting vegetables, etc.The idea is that sooner or later this dream place works as a lodging camping area where guests and volunteers can stay, meditate and eat. Thus, share the food and what is grown organically: vegetables, fruits, etc.) provided by the same land where this accommodation is located, thus contributing to a healthier and simpler life,
  (minimum for the time of stay ...) and peace, responsibility and cooperation between guests and volunteers in harmony, tranquility and gratitude to the universe and to life itself.
  
  I also have contemplated creating in my house a space to provide active Osho meditations (I have the Official permission of the Osho International Meditation Resort Pune, India, as a International Facilitator - Instructor to have an Osho Center) and possible i will looking some volunteers to enjoy give yoga, mindfulness, classes, for beginning...is my dream... so in any case, we always have the doors open to volunteers who meet the requirements we request in our description, who are above all flexible, simple, adaptable, out of dramas and demands and with the will to collaborate in any activity that is indicated or needed, for which we will be humanly very grateful. that our goal is that our volunteers become more than just a volunteer but that they really become incorporated with our culture, traditions, customs, language, etc., in such a way that sooner or later an integrating feeling of gratitude is formed. both parties are already part of our great and loving universal family and friends of life.

  I also consider that the main benefit of being here is to build a warm and friendly friendship, where we both learn from each other, and that this relationship lasts for a long time, beyond your stay as a volunteer, thus always leaving the door open for a next return.

  We accept only those who want and can help really and honestly in the different areas of accommodation and thus achieve a pleasant stay in one of the most beautiful "Magical Towns" in Mexico, such as San Cristóbal de las Casas, Chiapas.
  
  We have two places one Is near the mountains in San Cristóbal, it is a country, cozy, simple, pleasant, in a healthy and quiet environment, just 15 minutes from the city center.and the second is a hostel on the town the city, i mean near the bares, restaurante night life, etc.
  
  The place near the mountain is ideal for lovers of nature and the meditative life or for those travelers who are already tired of the party hostels, and want to give themselves a little space and time to breathe ... more calm, exchanging their friendly and responsible proactive support in the different tasks.
  
  We have three
  The type of help is basic for the maintenance of the accommodation and at the same time also to support in yoga, meditation classes, etc.
  
  The ideal volunteers for us are honest, responsible, creative, resourceful people, out of dramas and complications, adaptive, simple, flexible, humble people, with a good sense of humor, respect, cooperation, gratitude, in harmony and coherence with him and at the universe.
  Volunteers to help us with the different tasks and activities, both in the country house and in the hostel, depending on where their support is most required.
  The country house (project: create a space to meditate, give massages, yoga, etc.). So if you like tranquility and a meditative life, this is your best option.

  We are located 15 minutes from downtown. We have a really nice location, because although we are close to the mountain, it is not too far from the city center, in addition to urban transport it leaves you right at the door.
  
  We are also very close (10 minutes) to the main market for fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as the area of ​​Mollie's, Sams, Aurrera, etc. we are also in an area that shows a true small town in the province of Mexico.
  
  There are restaurants, cafes, cinemas, bars, the main theater of the city, banks, gas stations, Oxxos, Sams, Aurrera, Hospitals and small shops very close.
  
  San Cristóbal is a very attractive and lively city and there is always something to do. There are several cinemas, art galleries and museums, bares, coffes, restaurants, as well as a very active nightlife.
  
  San Cristóbal is one of the magical towns in Mexico with great colonial charm. The city has a very good location because we are on the Mayan Route, with ruins, lakes, waterfalls, also near the border with Guatemala and the Caribbean.
  
  We also offer tours to Palenque, Lake Montebello, Agua Azul and Chiflón Waterfalls, Sumidero Canyon and indigenous towns and connections to Guatemala with Lake Atitlán and Quetzaltenango.
