Our home is 10km from the nearest town (Queanbeyan, next to Canberra).
Canberra has a great range of attractions. Our helpers are often surprised at how much there is to explore and see and how many festivals and markets there are.
Great countryside for bushwalking, trail riding and cycling - a fantastic bike trail network that takse you anywhere and avoids traffic. You can reach a nature reserve in ten minutes by bike from just about anywhere. You can drive to a national park in fifteen.

We need help with fencing work, general maintenance, gardening, housework and the animals. You need to be willing to help out with four or five hours work each day,in exchange for your own room and all your meals.
We are partially self- sufficent, with a big vegetable garden, fruit trees and berry bushes, and poultry, one pig, sheep, and bees.
We also run a riding school on a nearby property, which involves a lot of work.

We have bicycles to explore the area, and on days off we are happy to drive you into Canberra.
