Our stay with Lisa and James was great!
They clearly communicated what they wanted to get done, trusted us with the work and always appreciated the help.
We also learned a lot about a different way of living.
They taught us how to create our own soil and different permaculture tricks and really invited us to the world of spiritualism and

We were invited to join a soundhealing, a special tea ceremony and some breathwork.
There was a lot to do and new ways of seeing life to discover, while also having some privacy and delicious meals.
So thanks again to James and Lisa for having us and if you wanna have an experience out of your way of seeing things, we really recommend staying with these two wonderful people!🫶🏼
We so enjoyed having Federica and Hugo with us, they came just before Christmas and stayed into the New Year. They are both hard working and self sufficient, helping us with many different projects - repairing the shed, some carpentry, wood collection and processing, tidying and weeding the gardens, brush cutting, varnishing the decks, chores in
… read more our house and cooking. They are both great cooks so it was beautiful to sample some Italian food and we enjoyed their conversations and energy. We also had fun dancing 5 Rhythms conscious dance and also learning some Salsa. We really appreciated their help, energy and highly recommend them to other hosts. Thanks again 💃🕺🏻
We really enjoyed the time by Lisa and James.
They live in a wonderful place in the middle of nature, among beautiful trees and flowers. In the morning a little wallaby passed by to say good morning while we were having breakfast and in the evening the trees filled with colorful birds.🌿

Stella and Matteo are highly recommended on Pet Sitters site and so we initially chose them, to look after our cats and house whilst we were away for a long weekend. We came back to a tidy house, happy cats and many of our land projects completed. We were very happy with their initiative and hard working nature, doing a number of jobs for us
… read more whilst we weren't even here. During that initial interview, we discovered that they were also Workaways and so when we came home they extended their stay here and moved into the bus. We really enjoyed their energy and enthusiasm to help us with land based tasks. Our conversations over dinner were always engaging and their ongoing bond with the cats, including coming in earlier to play with them ahead of dinner, was lovely to witness. Our time with Lisa and James was a great experience. Their property is beautiful, and the days were a perfect mix of hard work and enriching activities.

The location is stunning, with small towns, beaches and rainforests just a short drive away—perfect for a day out. Coming back to the property always felt comforting, though. The bus and garage space (complete with a ping-pong table) were cozy and offered privacy. And we definitely made good use of the natural pool—much appreciated during warm days!

We had such a great time with Zoe and Max. We really appreciated the time they spent with us. They are both super hard working, helping with lots of different projects we were working on from making soil, making a new hugel kultur garden bed, replenishing and weeding garden beds, planting seedlings, collecting leaves, pruning trees and chopping
… read more wood, and other general garden tasks. They also made some great food for us and really impressed us with their skills in the kitchen. They are both conscientious and have great energy to be around, so it was a real pleasure and very easy to host them. We also offered some of our favourite spiritual practices which they fully embraced and it was lovely to share our temple, lands and house with them. So in summary highly recommend Zoe and Max. … read more conversations, breath work and kundalini yoga sessions, tea ceremonies, dances, delicious dinners and game nights together. They are really beautiful people with amazing energy, it feels just good to be around both of them.
We fell asleep every night feeling inspired and woke up with fresh energy. We ate fresh veggies from the garden and felt truly connected to the nature around us. Amazing surf beaches and rainforests are close by which were a good escape on a warm day, but we always loved to come back to our home base (the bus and the garage with table tennis felt like our own private, pretty cool house) which really did feel like home. The sauna and natural pool are just the cherry on top, which we obviously really enjoyed as well 🍒

Emma and her friend Max were a delightful duo to host. We had an upcoming retreat at our home and Emma and Max did an amazing job of the final beautification of the land with shells and crystals. … read more the weeds, relaying weed mat, washing the pebbles and relaying. After months of weeds coming back what felt like daily we have managed to get control of the paths. Thank you so very very much. They laid the nambucca gold stone underneath the pyramid and the sauna, made soil and were thoroughly interested in learning about the Gene Keys over dinner. We had a really enjoyable time together and would welcome Emma and Max back any time.

There's a lot to do around nambucca heads and a lot to see but reccomend to rent bikes or car wich we did and was a worth cost; but the property Is still big and the activities (yoga with Lisa, icebathing, btreathworking , picknick in the garden , chilling on the ammock...) It offers are so many i think u Will enjoy with or without car!
If you Need a periodo of test and self work this Is the Place for you and Lisa Is such and Amazing yoga teacher! 🌿

They contact us before our departure to confirm our arrival time and assist in picking us up. After work James often took us out to explore the beautiful areas of Nambucca Heads, we went to many beaches and great river walks and discovered something new every day. In the evening we have dinner with James and Lisa. They cook a very healthy and tasty meal. Most of the vegetables come from their garden, which is very delicious! We occasionally go out to eat. On Friday, James and Lisa took us to the small town called Belligen, which is really beautiful. Through this experience , we learned how to be grateful for everything that nature has given us. We learned many knowledge about gardening. And from the stories of James and Lisa, we learned that it is important to know ourselves , and to maintain a positive attitude toward Life. James recommended us delicious ramen shops in New town and good movies. Lisa helped us with personality analysis and taught me yoga that can purify my soul. Our days consisted of different projects, some examples are fire prep, building garden beds and fill them using the Hugo methods to grow food, learning how to use material from the land and repurpose it. You only have to do 20 hours a week and get amazing home cooked food. The weekends you have free to do what you would like. Me and my partner had so much fun working with the land and learning from James and Lisa. We always had a good laugh and fun time with them.
