  I am a 45 Canadian man living in a large home in Piegut-Pluviers, France where I run a bed and breakfast. It is located in a quiet area with a lovely town within walking distance. I have a private bedroom with ensuite bathroom, a large living space with tv, garden, swimming pool and large terrace. I also have a fun dog named Neville.

  Living in a small town will give the experience of a quiet French area where you can learn the French culture and work on the language. I am an English speaker, so you can improve your English as well. Otherwise, it's a very relaxing environment and you won’t be asked to do anything beyond your capabilities.

  I run a very busy bed and breakfast at my home and am looking for someone to assist with helping out around the home while I work on the business. This will include house cleaning, garden maintenance, hanging out with my dog, and preparing the odd meal. I speak English his would be a great opportunity for you and I to perhaps learn each other's languages and/or learn french together. Many of our guests are very social and often times I hang out with them in the evenings on our terrace having a beer and just conversing. This would be a great opportunity to interact with people from all over learning about them, where they come from, and their own travel experiences. I’m also keen to learn about other cultures and customs and I’m happy to give you a Canadian experience (an ice hockey game while eating pancakes and maple syrup).

  I have a very large home with a couple of living spaces, good quality wifi, a nice terrace overlooking the pool and the countryside, and a friendly dog named Neville. You will have a comfortable room with a double bed and will share the bathroom, kitchen and private living room with myself. You will have plenty of privacy but I'm also very social and always enjoy watching sports or movies on our big screen tv, a game of cards or dominoes, or a drink and a cigar on the terrace. I have very good wifi internet and you are welcome to use my car.

  There are several nice restaurants in the immediate area, as well as the town of Piegut-Pluviers which contains a supermarket, pharmacy, doctor, dentist, bank, shops, hair shops, and a great weekly market. Nearby there are some nice restaurants, the beautiful town of Brantome, and the city of Saint-Junien about 45 minutes away where there is a bigger shopping centre and restaurants including a great Sushi place that we treat ourselves to from time to time.

  A work space can be arranged or you can have the living/dining area to yourself. The internet is quite strong .
