Sasha is an absolute super star. She's such an intelligent and beautifully confident young lady. Just as comfortable with a paint brush as a with a saucepan, she mucked in; always with a smile and often a bit of sass and fitted in immediately. honestly i don’t think there are words to express all the gratitude towards Katie and Ian for letting me be a part of their lives for the past weeks. the amount of effort guys make is insane. i loved every fun project that was assigned to me by the top management and our carpool karaoke and card game nights and dad jokes and motherly care and
… read more waking up in this insane place and watching the stars and trying not to get eaten by the dog and watching football together and playing pool even though i’m crap at it
it felt like i was a part of a big family and it has truly become my second home with the most loving and caring people around. could never wish for anything more. and yes i’m afraid you’ll hear from me again soon enough 😈

Keren is a gorgeous, interesting lady with a lovely Scottish lilt. I could have listened to her for hours! We instantly got on and she fitted in beautifully with our other Workaways. She was a great help, both inside and outside the house - she certainly doesn't mind getting stuck in and is surprisingly strong!

Katie and Iain were the most wonderful and very kind hosts. They made you feel like part of the family and their team from the very start. We enjoyed eating together and many games after dinner. ♠️

The Domaine was stunning and the surrounding area's were breathtaking. My room was
… read more fantastic and the work was varied and not difficult. I did a bit of gardening, cleaning, painting and help to look after their lovely animals.
They kindly let me use their car which enabled me to see other places nearby which was fantastic. Overall I would totally recommend the workaway and if you are lucky enough to go you can't say no!!

Christophe is a seriously lovely and interesting guy. He was so easy going and extremely helpful and eager to work hard. He completed some difficult work and we are truly grateful. We had a lovely week with him as he is a lot of fun, is very genuine and has some impressive dance moves! He is welcome back any time. Xxx

Katie and Ian are very very nice people !
They welcomed me with open arms and open heart. It has been great to meet them. Respectful and thankfull about work, giving and sharing what they have (swimming-pool, Gym, and so many services...). The room is VERY good, the place is NICE...

He is simply fantastic! He has twice the energy and drive of people half his age. And what a variety of skills! Among the many projects he helped us with, we now have seven new sets of shutters, two beautifully repaired and painted barn doors and THE most stunning linen cupboards we ever dreamt of

I was lucky to have spent several months with the wonderful couple, Katie and Ian. Their Domaine des Montarels is a great place. The surrounding view is breathtaking - and for me the view west to watch the ever changing sunset each evening stunning. Katie is full of ideas to consistently render their growing domaine ever more beautiful and
… read more enormous pleasure to their renting clients. Ian ensures also the inspirations are completed. Such great projects for me to have been able to carry out. Both are so so kind, and we spent so much time talking, eating together, playing all kinds of games - some extraordinary card games. I met many of their friends, all of whom love them dearly, and had great lunch or dinner parties with them. There are many really interesting towns, villages, lakes, endless beachs nearby to visit. They make many recommendations of places to visit, restaurants to eat. One is also invited to concerts of the choir in which Katie is a leading participant. When my son and daughter came to visit me, they were welcomed with open arms and deep affection. I will return to help again and enjoy their warm company. I recommend anyone to join them, to help and have endless fun.

Somehow, Ben and I have been lucky enough to have met the most fun people in all of France in Ian and Katie. Our time spent with them was amazing, they showed us so many cool things in the area and when we weren't touring the area we were playing card games and sharing stories. … read more special people and anybody would be lucky to stay with them. We had amazing meals as Katie is a fantastic cook which we'll surely be missing as we continue our travels. We helped out where we could landscaping, cleaning, and some other small projects. The setting is unbelievable with vineyards as far as the eye can see with so much to do in the towns all around. Well these lovely Texan brothers do not disappoint!!
We are seriously going to miss these happy, easy-going, smart young men. Their attitude to work is fantastic as is their willingness to take the initiative.
