I own a small sheep farm just outside of Kamloops, B.C. I work full time as an agriculture consultant and during the summer months I need additional help with irrigation, fencing, livestock management, gardening and weed control. I have three children, 19, 21 and 23 who have moved away and a common law partner who lives at the farm with me, but works full time off the farm. I have two bedrooms available for accommodation as well as a separate bathroom.

Our farm is located 30 minutes from Kamloops in south central B.C. The weather in the summer is quite hot and there are many outdoor activities to enjoy. On the farm there are 2 horses to ride and lots of trails to explore either on foot, horseback or atv. 30 minutes east of the farm is Shuswap Lake which is very popular for boating, swimming and all kinds of water sports. Sun Peaks Resort is a popular ski resort which is located 1 hour away from the farm. The city of Kamloops has a population of approx. 75,000 people with many recreational amenities from swimming pools, ice arenas and golf courses to fitness and yoga centres. The city is also home to Thompson Rivers University and has several movie theatres, two live theatres, as well as many malls and shopping areas to enjoy.
