First of all: If you have mental problems, please look for another host. After 12 years as a host, I have a lot of experience with my helpers, but I will not play the therapist for my volunteers.
We are living in the beautiful Area Allgäu in Bavaria. On our farm in Füssen we offer therapy for handicapped children and riding lessons. Our 12 horses make a lot of work, so I need help round the farm and for household. We also have some cats and guinea pigs.
I look for help in my farm and in the garden, not for people that come here only to ride. And I have place ONLY FOR GIRLS , cause of the accomodation.
YOU SHOULD BE NOT TO SHY OR QUIET AND YOU MUST BE ABLE TO WORK INDEPENDENT. Every day we will have lunch and dinner all together (please no handys/mobiles at the table during every meal).
Minimum stay 3 weeks.
Das Wichtige zuerst: wenn du psychische Probleme hast, dann bitte schau nach einem anderen Host. Nach über 11 Jahren als Host hat man so seine Erfahrungen und ich will kein Therapeut für meine Helferinnen sein.
Wir wohnen im schönen Allgäu/ Bayern. Auf unserem Hof in Füssen, auf dem Heilpädagogisches Reiten und Reitunterricht angeboten wird, wohnen 12 Pferde, die auch viel Arbeit machen. Es laufen viele Katzen herum, die ebenfalls zur Familie gehören. Die 15 Meerschweinchen haben "Heiligen-Status". Es wird nur eine WEIBLICHE Person gesucht. Wir essen immer alle zusammen, je nachdem, wer da ist. Und bitte, keine Handys am Tisch während dem Essen. Ich hatte zu viele Helfer, die kein Wort sprechen und dafür nur auf ihr Handy starren. Das wollen wir nicht mehr!!!
Du solltest mindestens 3 Wochen bleiben können.

It would be nice if someone would have the knowledge of farming. Otherwise, everything can be learned. I just hope for some support in repairing fences, gardening and all work at the farm. I look for a volunteer, who speaks a littlebit german. And I have place ONLY FOR GIRLS. I need independent work, it is not possible to do the work all the time in a team.
Es wäre schön, wenn schon jemand Ahnung von der Arbeit auf einem Hof hätte. Ansonsten läßt sich alles lernen. Ich wünsche mir einfach etwas Unterstützung bei der Arbeit auf dem Hof und rund ums Haus und den Garten. Handwerkliche Fähigkeiten wären von Vorteil. Leute, die nur reiten wollen, werden nicht gesucht.
