First of all: If you have mental problems, please look for another host. After 12 years as a host, I have a lot of experience with my helpers, but I will not play the therapist for my volunteers. Please answer/apply with your own words NOT WITH KI.
We are living in the beautiful Area Allgäu in Bavaria. On our farm in Füssen we offer therapy for handicapped children. During December till February we have a break for the therapy lessons. Our 12 horses make a lot of work, so I need help round the farm and for household. We also have some cats and guinea pigs. If you are interested in therapy riding, you can help me but it is not necessary.
I look for help in my farm and in the garden, not for people that come here only to ride. If you are able to ride, so we can go for beautiful rides together.
YOU SHOULD BE NOT TO SHY OR QUIET AND YOU MUST BE ABLE TO HELP INDEPENDENT. Every day we will have lunch and dinner all together (please no handys/mobiles at the table during every meal). Minimum stay 3 weeks.

Wir wohnen im schönen Allgäu/ Bayern. Auf unserem Hof in Füssen, auf dem Heilpädagogisches Reiten angeboten wird, wohnen 12 Pferde, die auch viel Arbeit machen. Es laufen viele Katzen herum, die ebenfalls zur Familie gehören. Die 15 Meerschweinchen haben "Heiligen-Status". Wir essen immer alle zusammen, je nachdem, wer da ist. Und bitte, keine Handys am Tisch während dem Essen. Ich hatte zu viele Helfer, die kein Wort sprechen und dafür nur auf ihr Handy starren. Das wollen wir nicht mehr!!!
Du solltest mindestens 3 Wochen bleiben können.
Zwischen Dezember und Februar finden keine Therapiestunden statt, hier ist Winterpause. Hilfe wird dennoch benötigt. Wenn du reiten kannst, ist es normalerweise kein Problem, dass wir auch zusammen ausreiten können.

We always try to involve our volunteers in traditional festivals. For example, we attend a cattle round up from the mountain pastures in September or horse blessings in October.
In winter, we can go for a sled ride together, and anyone who wants to can go ice swimming. In summer, there are seven beautiful lakes for swimming. We can go for a mountain hike at any time.
Wir versuchen immer, unsere Helfer bei traditionellen Festen teilhaben zu lassen. So besuchen wir zusammen z.B. einen Almabtrieb im September, oder Pferdesegnungen im Oktober.
Im Winter können wir zusammen Schlittenfahren gehen, wer möchte kann auch Eisbaden. Im Sommer stehen 7 wundervolle Seen zum Baden bereit. Bergtouren können auch jederzeit unternommen werden.
Ajuda
If you are interested in animal farming, animal care, support in repairing fences, gardening and all tasks round the farm, let me know. I don't expect your help directly with the horses, that's my work. But if you love horses and/or you are interested to learn more in handling, we can manage it. I look for a volunteer, who speaks a little bit german.
Your time off you can manage by yourself or we can do something together. Sometimes we have less tasks to help with, so you will have enough time to see the wonderful sights and possibly round Füssen.
Wenn du an Hofarbeit interessiert bist, bei der Unterstützung von allen Arbeiten rund um den Hof gerne helfen möchtest, dann bist du bei mir richtig. Ich erwarte nicht, dass du mit den Pferden direkt arbeitest, das ist meine Arbeit. Aber wenn du Pferde liebst und hier vielleicht mehr lernen möchtest, können wir das gerne machen. Es wäre schön, wenn du etwas deutsch sprechen könntest.

Julia, our time together was wonderful. Thank you so much, for all your help. You were always friendly, funny and absolutely reliable, that was a good feeling for me, when I was not at home. You have a really good hand with all the horses and other animals.

Thanks Anja for a wonderful stay. :)
I only really meant to stay 3-4 weeks and ended up staying for around 2 months.
Anja is a great host. Easy going and a lot of fun. I always felt welcome and appreciated. I was also welcomed by the rest of the family. I definitely intend to come back to visit!

Tyler, you was always funny and friendly. I think farming wasn´t your favorite job but you was always very well with the horses, children and especially with my grandmother. That was really lovely work. Have a nice time on your next host. Thanks for helping.

Fussen is a really pretty place to be and work. The farm is really pretty´and has lots of history as well. The horses are all really sweet, especially the Iceland ponies are too cute! vielen lieben Dank für diese tolle Zeit.
Es ist zwar keine leichte Arbeit, aber es macht Spaß und man ist die meiste Zeit an der frischen Luft.
Ich habe mich bei Anja und allen 2- und 4-Beinern sehr wohl gefühlt und würde mich über ein Wiederkommen auch sehr freuen.
