  I live with a friend, but I have visitors frequently. Two dogs and a cat live with me.
  Wonderful mountain and sea landscapes.
  Next to the Cantabrian Sea, small town (Poo) 20 minutes walk from another main town (Llanes)
  I am retired as a Technology teacher at a Secondary School.
  I am interested in politics, history, current issues in the world.
  I am angry at the lack of solidarity with those fleeing hunger or war, the social injustice, the neoliberalism that creates so much poverty, the religions that attack the equal rights of women and make people submissive to irrational norms.
  I like to read, continue learning, travel, meet people to exchange experiences...

  Vivo con una amiga, pero tengo visitas con frecuencia. Viven conmigo dos perros y un gato.
  Paisajes maravillosos de montaña y mar.
  Junto al mar Cantábrico, pueblo pequeño (Poo) a 20 minutos caminando de otro principal (LLanes)
  Estoy jubilada como profesora de Tecnología en un instituto de Secundaria.
  Me interesa la política, la historia, los temas de actualidad en el mundo.
  Me enfadan la insolidaridad con quienes huyen del hambre o las guerras, la injusticia social, el neoliberalismo que crea tanta pobreza, las religiones que atentan contra los derechos igualitarios de las mujeres y hacen a las personas sumisas a normas irracionales.
  Me gusta leer, seguir aprendiendo, viajar, conocer gente para intercambiar experiencias...

  Puedo apoyar en español si lo desea también, como intercambio.
  Ideal el lugar para montañeros (Picos de Europa), escaladores, surfistas, ciclistas...Hay cerca muchas cuevas prehistóricas con pinturas, visitables.
  El jardín y la casa permiten aislarse cuando una lo necesita, pues hay muchos rincones para ello.

  You can share a room or not, depending on the visitors at home. But I have plenty of room.Breakfast is provided and use of the fully equipped kitchen.

  The village is rural and is 1.5 km from the main villa. Member of Servas and Hospitality Club, so I am open to visits, to meeting people. I have many friends of all ages who stop by the house. I live 100 km from three major cities (Oviedo, Gijón, Santander), two hours from Bilbao, with good bus communication. I can help the visitor get here also with friends who come or blablacar. The main town has everything you need: swimming pool, sports courts, supermarkets,... Sometimes the calendar as a hostess changes suddenly when travel plans suddenly arise that I was not expecting because I am retired. What is marked is indicative. I need the volunteers to have some experience in simple DIY (painting, small repairs, gardening...)

  El pueblo es rural y está a 1,5 km de la villa principal.
  Socia de Servas y Hospitality Club, por lo que estoy abierta a visitas, a conocer gente.
  Tengo muchos amigos de todas las edades, que pasan por la casa.
  Vivo a 100 km de tres ciudades importantes, (Oviedo, Gijón, Santander), a dos horas de Bilbao, con buena comunicación por autobús. Puedo ayudar al visitante a llegar hasta aquí también con amigos que vienen o blablacar.
  
  El pueblo principal tiene todo lo necesario: piscina, pistas deportivas,supermercados,...
  
  A veces el calendario como anfitriona cambia de improviso cuando de repente surgen planes de viaje que no esperaba porque estoy jubilada. Lo que está marcado es orientativo.
  
  Necesito que los voluntarios tengan alguna experiencia en bricolaje sencillo (pintura, pequeños arreglos, jardinería…)
