Wauw! What an amazing time I got to spend at Malea, Kyle and the absolute cutest Bo! This was my first WorkAway experience ever and I couldn't have wish for more. I helped with the last details on getting their Sooke house ready for selling, weeding the backyard and looking out for Bo. On my days off Malea, Bo and I (Kyle was on an adventure with
… read more some friends) went on a little camping trip to Parksville. We had a fantastic time and I really enjoyed talking with Malea, we talked about the smallest things and the biggest and I feel like I learned a lot from her.
I also joined them for a day out on Lake Cowichan with Malea's parents which was so much fun! I even got to try tubing for the first time.
I truly feel like I became a part of the family at Malea's and Kyle's.
I had so much fun with Bo too! She is the cutest, funniest, most lovely little human being! I will miss her and her wonderful toddler take on the world :D
I'm already looking forward to visit Malea, Kyle and Bo again! Hopefully we can go on some more adventures together.

Kyle, Malea and Bo are some awesome people. All of them have a friendly, happy and positive attitude, which we really enjoyed.

… read more downtown and showed us Victoria at night. He also gave us tips for cool spots to see on the island. Bo is the absolutely sweetest kid and we loved to play and having fun with her.

One of the best workaway experiences I've ever had! Kyle and Malea made me feel home immidiately. Kyle is such a great person to work with, I had so much fun during work, but also after work. Kyle is definetely one of the funniest people I've met😂. It never got boring. The one I will miss the most is definetely their little daughter Bo, I enjoyed
… read more playing, running around and laughing with her so much. All of them made me feel like I'm really part of the family. Thank you so much for showing me around this part of the island, helping me to improve my englishskills and letting me be part of your family for these two and a half weeks! We had a great short stay with Kyle and his partner, they were very hospitable even with our very last minute plans and arrival. … read more is not hard, we were doing some manual labor outside in the yard and Kyle joined in so we had a great time chatting while doing it. He was totally flexible with when we could do the tasks which was helpful to accommodate the other things we wanted to do in Victoria.
