The Art Center is a non profit art center opened in 2010 in the heart of Aix en Provence. We regularly welcome helpers and volunteers throughout the year and offer onsite accommodation for 1 or 2 (couple).

Travellers will interact daily with both locals and tourists. They will improve their french language skills while learning about art and food (in the summer) and discovering Provence.

We regularly welcome helpers and volunteers to aid with installing / uninstalling exhibits, helping people around our shows and events, fixing or building fixtures...

You'll be housed on the premises and have free access to your own room, kitchen and shower room, internet...

Money will be given on a weekly basis for the helper to purchase food. In the summer season lunches will be provided by the restaurant attached to the art center.

Aix en Provence is surrounded by nature, hiking and walking to the Saint Victoire moutain, or the calanques near Marseille make for lovely day trips. Vineyards, lavender fields, fresh fruit and vegetables are all part of the beauty of the city which happens to be less than an hour from neighboring Marseille, Arles, Avignon, Cassis.
