Since October/November 2020 we made our very positive experience with workawayer. They takes a lot of pressure off us to balance household, garden, cat, shopping, sports, company, young daughter (born 12/2013), holiday home management and more. Now we are looking new for 2025, when there is a lot of work in our company here and the lady boss has to work in Germany for a longer period of time.
We've been living in our own house with a large garden since September '21, which also marked the start of an extensive renovation project. Not everything is finished and perfect yet, so we are always happy to get help via Workaway.

Seit Oktober/November 2020 machten wir sehr positive Erfahrung mit Workawayern. Sie entlasteten uns sehr, Haushalt, Garten, Katze, Einkauf, Sport, Firma, junge Tochter (geb. 12/2013), Ferienhausverwaltung und mehr, unter einen Hut zu bringen. Nun suchen wir neu für 2025, wenn es in unserer Firma hier viel Arbeit gibt, und die Chefin für längere Zeit in Deutschland arbeiten muss.
Seit September ´21 wohnen wir in unserem eigenen Haus mit großem Garten, damit startete zusätzlich ein umfangreiches Umbauprojekt. Es ist noch nicht alles fertig und perfekt, auch dafür nehmen wir immer wieder gern Hilfe via Workaway entgegen.

We speak German and English fluently, we are improving our Spanish every day. The little one speaks almost perfect Spanish and English through school. Therefore we are open to anyone who is a native speaker of at least one of these three languages. Perfectly we would find someone who speaks Spanish as a native speaker, then we would switch to Spanish at home. Of course we will also teach you German if you like.

Daher sind wir offen für jeden, der mind. eine dieser drei Sprachen muttersprachlich spricht. Perfekterweise finden wir jemanden der muttersprachlich Spanisch spricht, dann würden wir zu Hause auf Spanisch umstellen. Natürlich bringen wir dir auch Deutsch bei, wenn du magst.

Come to us in Guatiza, situated in the heart of Lanzarote, a relaxed Canary Islands which is a part of Spain.
We will take care of all tasks in the household, garden and of the child care together. You don't necessarily have to be able to cook, but we are also happy to let you cook for us.
(We prepare a variety of dishes, always freshly cooked, but we are not vegetarians. So it is extra effort for us to accommodate vegetarians. We will clarify this on a case-by-case basis. Unfortunately we cannot offer a stay to people who are vegan.)
You must hold a valid driving licence!
Apart from your trip and special private activities, there are no further costs for you, with a small car you will be mobile for exploring the island on your own account.

Komm zu uns nach Guatiza, im Herzen Lanzarotes, einer entspannten Kanareninsel die zu Spanien gehört.
Gemeinsam kümmern wir uns um alle anfallenden Aufgaben in Haus und Garten und um die Kinderbetreuung. Kochen musst du nicht unbedingt können, wir lassen uns aber auch gerne bekochen.
(Wir bereiten vielfältige Speisen zu, es wird immer frisch gekocht, wir sind aber keine Vegetarier. Daher ist es zusätzlicher Aufwand für uns, Vegetarier zu beherbergen. Dies werden wir im Einzelfall abklären. Veganern können wir leider keinen Aufenthalt anbieten.)
Du musst zwingend einen gültigen Führerschein besitzen!
Neben deiner Anreise und besonderen privaten Aktivitäten, fallen für dich keine weiteren Kosten an, mit einem kleinen Auto bist du mobil und kannst die Insel auf eigen Faust erkunden.

GB: We are a german family living in spain. So to find a mothertongue or perfectly spanish speaking workawayer would be great, for improving our speaking skills at home. Native English is of course also ok (and German anyway) DE: Wir sind eine deutsche Familie, leben in Spanien. Daher suchen wir gerne eine muttersprachliche(n) Spanier(in), um unsere Spanischkenntnisse auch im täglichen Leben zu Hause zu verbessern. Muttersprachlich Englisch ist natürlich auch ok (und deutsch sowieso).
