  We are a small family consisting of three humans, three cats, one dog and two beautiful horses. Our village Eidsfoss is a lovely rural place of about 1000 people scattered around two big lakes. Eidsfoss has a small grocery shop (actually the oldest still in existence in Norway!), a tavern and a restaurant. Situated about 80 km from Oslo, the nearest train station is about 19 km away.
  
  Our beautiful wooden house is about 100 years old, has three stories plus basement, kitchen, three living rooms, three bedrooms and a loft perfect for meditation or solitary work.
  
  The near surroundings offer opportunities for fishing, hiking, canoeing and swimming.
  There will be a car available for your convenience.
  
  Our three bengal cats each have their distinct personalities. Yuki and Lara need some time to develop trust, but Tora is an open, talkative guy!
  
  Fønix (male castrated) at 15 is the oldest of our two horses, Ciela (female) is 13. Fønix is mature and gentle, although sometimes suffering from stomach aches. Ciela used to have a bit of a temper but has since then calmed down. Both enjoy riding trips in the nature. They require daily care and a keen eye for spotting if they have a soar hoove, stomach ache or a skin tear that needs to be taken care of.

  Enjoying Norwegian nature and the company of animals, hang out at the local taverna, practise your language skills. Taking part in Aikido and yoga training, reconnecting with nature.

  Taking part in various activities in the garden; looking after tomato plants and trimming some bushes/hedges. Recently we started refurbishing a small barn, so taking part in this could also be part of a daily schedule.
