We are a German couple living on a desert island in the Ream National Park in the south of Cambodia. We have a resort with 8 wooden bungalows.
We have 4 dogs, a Pony on 3 ha jungle and beach. We are the only resort on this island. -

Usually we have a lot of garbage on the beach at this time of year that needs to be cleared away. For that we had invited Riccardo to come to us. This year the garbage wave seems to be late and so we had no work for him. We are really sorry that we had to send Riccardo away. He worked well and was always friendly.

Maria is a positiv, smiling, friendly person. She is professional in dealing with our guests and all the work around a hotel business.
Our ponies were never as neat as under her care. And the dogs also loved her.

Very unpleasant experience. Didnt feel welcome at all, there is a very hostile atmosphere at this place. Not a friendly, happy place to be. Our room was completely rat infested. We left the day after our arrival and have no regrets.

They came 3 days to late. Then the room was not good enough and they asked for a guest bungalow to stay. We gave them a bungalow because we are not fully booked at the moment. After the first night they came to me in the morning and said that they leave because they saw a rat. Welcome on a lonely island in Cambodia.

We have enjoyed the 5 month with Harald very much. He is a open mind and communicative guy and we could trust him 100%.
Harald is a excellent cook and we enjoyed every meal from him.
Our dogs loved him. We miss the evenings playing cards with him.

I stayed there for 5 month. Kavita und Michael are great guys. I had a amazing time. Great food, great stuff, lovely dogs, pigs, horses and much more animals around the island.
