Descrição
We are Aura, Emmanuel, and our young son—a small family building an off grid, regenerative homestead guided by permaculture principles, ecology, and simple living. We share our home with chooks, goats, and a lively community of native birds including blue wrens, robins, kookaburras, and black cockatoos.
About Aura, I work in environmental rehabilitation, ecosystem regeneration, permaculture, and environmental education. my passion is creating, reconnecting learning from and with nature and designing a more intentional, resilient way of living. My approach is grounded, relational, and systems-based—bringing together ecology, community, and meaningful learning. About Emmanuel, I’m a mechanic with a deep commitment to sustainability and hands-on regenerative projects. I’ve built aquaponics systems, solar setups, greywater systems, goat-based blackberry control, and a developing food forest with swales and compost systems. My focus is on practical, simple, low-impact living and inspiring others to do the same. We speak English, Spanish, and Swiss German.
