  Have you always wanted to live in Italy and see what it takes to run the day to day activities of a villa?
  
  We are two busy guys in our mid 40's living in Umbria with our small dog, Miele. We are looking for one person (no couples please) who would like to help us. We're looking for a commitment of at least one month starting now .
  
  You’d also help us with organizing around the house and household duties.
  
  Separately, if you are interested in post production for film and television you can learn from David who is a sound editor working on US television programs. Do you have Pro Tools experience? Would you like to learn more from a working professional? Come learn about post-production sound and the entertainment business with us.
  
  Our home is located near an Etruscan hilltop village called Todi which lies within the Province of Perugia in Umbria; a Region of Central Italy. We have a magical 5 bedroom stone villa with a pool and a wonderful view of the surrounding vineyards and farmland.
  
  Nearby "major" towns are Perugia and Terni (both about 30 mins by car). Rome is 1.5 hours away and Florence is 2 hrs by train. Venice is 4 hours. We are two hours from the beaches of Italy on both the east and west coast.

  Learn what it's like living with some Americans in Italy and all the customs and traditions that may be similar or not to yours. We love learning about new cultures and we love sharing our customs and ideas with others as well.
  
  English is our primary language and we are happy to teach you how to speak English better. We both have an intermediate knowledge of the Italian language.
  
  Do you like to mediate? Here you'll find serenity in the villa and surrounding nature.

  Ajuda

  A typical workaway day would start around 8am and end around 1p. The rest of the day you would have to yourself to do as you wish. Some days you might do three hours in the morning and then two in the late afternoon if you are helping to prepare dinner that night.
  
  There are house tasks and errands which would include getting groceries, watering plants, cleaning the pool, keeping the house tidy, and caring for our small dog.
  
  This workaway experience is perfect for someone who loves to cook, is healthy, and appreciates calm, quiet, and some isolation as we have no neighbors and the city is a 15-20 min walk away. The property is perfect if you want to read a book or lay and relax/meditate in your off time. If you are an extrovert or someone that needs a lot of personal contact/conversation this might not be right for you.
  
  On the weekends, Rome can be reached by the Sulga bus or via train from Terni. Florence can be reached in two hours from the train station in Perugia which we are happy to take you to.

  Acomodação

  You have a private bedroom on the second floor and three bathrooms that we all share. The house is 330 sq m -- or 3300 sq ft -- so plenty of room to find some space of your own. There is a pool outside that is open during the summer which overlooks the rolling hills.

  In Pian di Porto there's a very large market there called EMI which we love. From Terni or Perugia you can catch the train to any place in Italy. For errands we have a jeep that you can use to drive around.
