I worked for coco for two months last year and had a fairly negative experience. Coco showed low empathy for the horses she worked with and the people who worked for her. She had us work long hours (sometimes mornings 7/8 am until evenings 7/8pm ) which was okay because it was agreed upon that she would pay us for the extra hours outside of the
… read more workaway norm. In the end she decided not to pay me because I had a car accident in her uninsured vehicle during my stay, she did not confront me about this until the very last day. It was really a great experience!! Lovely people, amazing place to live in and nice job to do!! I'm really happy about my 3 months with Coco and I high recommend her!! Great time :)

I really enjoyed my time with Coco, you and your family were so nice and made me feel very welcome! I learnt a lot about horses, that i didn't know before, and although it was coming to the end of the season I still had plenty of work to do, or helping out Olly with that sheep and cattle. Such an interesting practice, I haven't seen much AI and
… read more reproduction during my experience with other vets, but this was truly fascinating, and helped me to see that I want to have a career in veterinary medicine.

… read more ... Rhea was very hospitable, she really made me feel at home from the first moment I got there. Spending Chrissie with Vettie and her family was probably more fun then spending it back in Belgium with my own family. There are so many people I want to mention, but then this review would get way too long. Louisa was an excellent workawayer. she Was quick to learn and anticipated what needed to be done, a very smart girl. She was great with the horses, very confident and was riding my 3yo gelding bareback each day before we sold him.

I had a great time with Coco's family! I learned so much about reproduction and it was exciting to he with the embryo transfers. Some days could be very busy, on others I was done working by noon and had plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful river or go for a ride. I loved spending Christmas with you guys :) Thanks so much for having me!!!
