I am Angie and together with my two children aged 14 and 19. At the moment we are not farming or growing any crops.
However there is always assistance required. As both my son and I work long hours away from our property, my daughter is at school, it is difficult to keep up with the general maintenance of the property.
Required chores are mowing hedge trimming and weeding and general clean and tidy of the property.
Meals and accommodation are exchanged for 25 hours work each over a 7 day period, this can be negotiated if you wish to provide some meals for yourselves for less exchanged hours if you are seeking outside paid work.
Our farm is located 10km from Yeppoon on the Capricorn Coast with the nearest bus stop being 2km walk on the highway. Travelers not driving their own vehicle will need to stop at Rockhampton, then can catch a local bus to Yeppoon. Arrangements for pickup in Rockhampton (approximately 80km round trip) can be made at an extra cost for fuel.
This is on a basis 25 hours per week per person for most meals and accommodation

0ne Self contained room with kitchenettes and sharing the bathroom sleeping a total of 3-4 people. Ingredients provided for self help Breakfast and Lunch with evening meals being a combined effort.
Rooms are to be kept clean and tidy with a full room clean being completed before your departure, washing machine is provided. Personal hygiene items and special dietary supplements are not provided.
