Looking for 2 people from June 5th to 20th 2022
Hi! We are Unai, Iñigo & Malwina. We own a farm in the heart of the Basque Country, 10 minutes from the coastal town of Deba. We are rebuilding a part of it, and we want to invite 2 people to work and stay with us. We' ve travelled the world and know how to make everyone feel welcome at our home. At home we speak Spanish, English, Polish and German. This farm, built in 1775 is a traditional homestead, which used to be self-sufficient for centuries. One of our dreams is to put it back to work, through gardening, a healthy lifestyle and also incorporating our artistic/musical lifestyle to it. You will experience the freedom that comes from working in nature, eating fresh food, and getting to know the beautiful and lively region of the Basque coast.
The privileged location of our farmhouse enables the visitors to access some of the most beautiful places in the region. Cities such as Bilbao or San-Sebastian are relatively close, the coast and the impressive "Basque Coast Geopark are only 15 minutes away, not to mention many other little towns and corners full of life, mystery and tradition.
If you are coming from abroad the best option is Bilbao Airport. If you are traveling by land, travel information will be provided when we confirm you attendance.

Anyone visiting us will profit from a simple and fulfilling lifestyle apart from learning about gardening and many other aspects related to a traditional farmhouse. Our knowledge of languages (English, German, Polish, Basque, Spanish) and our interest for alternative ways of living will ensure a rich cultural exchange!
The work involves remodelling some of the stone walls and wooden ceilings in the farm. It is not a heavy work, and doesn't involve a whole lot of physical strength.

Our visitors will have their own individual or shared rooms (depending on wether they come alone, or in a couple).
We will provide you with all the food and commodities, although we might not be able to cook for you because of our schedules (we work + have a 1 year old baby). You will have a big kitchen at your disposal.
Hot water YES
We do not have an internet connection at the farm, and cell phone signal is limited in some areas. Although there is a signal in some spots, so don't worry.
We don't have a heating system at the farm except for firewood, but we can provide you with plenty of blankets and electric heaters.

We have space for a caravan.
We accept friendly dogs, no cats. Bear in mind that it is a farm with chicken and other dogs.
