  CURRENT NEEDS:
  
  1 - WE NEED A PERSON WITH EXPERIENCE IN ORCHARDS, GARDENING AND PERMACULTURE WHO WANTS TO TAKE CHARGE AND BOOST THIS AREA IN OUR PROJECT.
  
  2 - WE WANT TO INSTALL BOULDER ROUTES ON AN OUTSIDE AREA WHERE WE HAVE A LONG WALL THAT REACHES 5 METERS HIGH OR MORE IN SOME AREAS. WE ARE LOOKING TO HOST A CLIMBER THAT HAS DONE THIS ALREADY AND WOULD WANT TO COME AND DO IT HERE IN EXCHANGE FOR THE EXPERIENCE.
  
  - APART FROM THIS 2 POINTS, WE STILL GET VOLUNTEERS FOR HELPING US IN ALL THE OTHER AREAS OF THE PROYECT.

  This is a family dog shelter and rehabilitation center located in Valencia, Spain (55 km from downtown Valencia). We consider ourselves a project with a natural and balanced approach to canine education and rehabilitation. We also give dogs up for adoption in collaboration with animal organizations and associations. Right now we are starting a new period in which the project will evolve to merge permaculture, edible forest, mini sanctuary, DIY workshop and video editing. We want to get on the path of self-sufficiency while living with a balanced pack of dogs that is with us all the time. I am also very immersed in making videos every day of the process here at the center, and I want to make a youtube and twitch channel to finance the project.
  
  There is a house entirely dedicated to the workawayers. This house is separated from the center (but right next to it) and has beautiful views surrounded by nature, a huge terrain, fireplace, pool and a proper house with everything you need. In this house we have a lovely pack of dogs that are compatible with our other animals: 3 pigs, 2 Cats and 1 goose. The house works with solar panels so you have to make a conscious use of electricity.
  
  Apart from this house, we also have mobile homes and other spaces to live in. Its important to understand that eveything its in the process of being improved and remodeled in many ways and people should be prepared for this. We are learning here to live off grid, in a rural enviroment with out the usual easy going comfort of a city house.
  
  in this regard its also important to realice that we live in the middle of a rutal area, and the nearest shop were you can buy groceries its 7km walking from the center, and the nearest town with all you would need from the city its at 13km. So dont expect to be able to get whatever you want at anytime. We make a big grocery shopping every 15 days, and its habitual that just before the next shopping there will be much less variety off aliments and we will have to get more creative with food and cooking.
  
  I give priority to receiving people who are independent with cooking food. My father cooks vegetarian menu for lunch in the week and we provide food and lodging, but we don’t cook for the volunteers for dinners and the whole weekend.
  
  We have normally around 15/20 person in the proyect, between volunteers and long term collaborators. The quantity changes depending on the moment of the year. So if you would like to have a community experience with the company of other workawayers with a similar vibe and then be able to work and be with the dogs for a few hours every day, then this is surely a ideal place for you.
  
  I give priority to volunteers with the idea of staying in the project for a long period of at least 1 month. I am very sorry, but if your idea is a short stay, it is very likely that I will reject your request. We have space for around 10 volunteers, and currently the house is practically full and i prefer to receive people in the long term since in this way the experience is much more enriching for the animals, for the people and for the project itself.
  
  Some of the long termers and I share a taste for early morning routines. During the week we wake up between 4am and 5am and some of us freely share different activities like breathing exercices, gym workout, meditation, running, and cold bath in the pool. If you like this kind of routines and would like to join us we would be very happy to share these moments.
  
  The work schedule would be 4 hours from 10:00 am in winter until it turns gradually into 7:00 am in summer. We are normally working with tasks related to manual labor such as fencing, gardening, construction and general maintenance. Lunchtime is at 12:00 in summer, and at 2:00 p.m . the rest of the year, and we would normally share it at the volunteers' house.
  
  In the afternoons, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., there is the option of walking some of the project's dogs along nature trails that exist in the area, visiting some of the dogs separated from the project and walking them through our fenced land , or be with the whole pack and socialize with them in the main house.
  
  We have a van so evenings can also be a time for shopping or a trip somewhere nice with some of the dogs once a week if that's the case.
  
  We prefer that the center remains drug-free and we need responsible people who are aware of the need to pay attention and care in matters of safety and balance in the herd.
  
  We also need people to clean up after themselves in the house in which they are invited since we are really saturated with the level of work that the dogs and the project already demand on a constant basis.
  
  To accept someone, it is essential that i can hear the person through WhatsApp. I need to be sure of the person's energy and attitude and be able to chat and get to know people a bit before talking about coming.
  
  I can communicate in English, Spanish or French (I need to improve my French). And I am open to do language exchange.

  NECESITAMOS UNA PERSONA CON EXPERIENCIA EN HUERTOS, JARDINERÍA Y PERMACULTURA QUE QUIERA HACERSE CARGO E IMPULSAR ESTE ÁREA EN NUESTRO PROYECTO.

  Este es un centro de rehabilitación y refugio familiar para perros ubicado en Valencia, España (a 55 km del centro de Valencia). Nos consideramos un proyecto con un enfoque natural y equilibrado de la educación y rehabilitación canina. También damos perros en adopción en colaboración con organizaciones y asociaciones animalistas. Ahora mismo estamos iniciando una nueva etapa en la que el proyecto evolucionará para fusionar permacultura, bosque comestible, mini santuario, taller de bricolaje y edición de vídeo. Queremos emprender el camino de la autosuficiencia mientras vivimos con una jauría de perros equilibrada que esté con nosotros todo el tiempo. También estoy muy inmerso en hacer vídeos todos los días del proceso aquí en el centro, y quiero hacer un canal de youtube y twitch para financiar el proyecto.
  
  Hay una casa íntegramente dedicada a los voluntarios. Esta casa está separada del centro (pero justo al lado) y tiene unas preciosas vistas rodeadas de naturaleza, un terreno enorme, chimenea, piscina y una casa propiamente dicha con todo lo necesario. En esta casa tenemos una encantadora manada de perros que son compatibles con nuestros otros animales: 3 cerdos, 2 gatos y 1 ganso. La casa funciona con placas solares por lo que hay que hacer un uso consciente de la electricidad.
  
  Aparte de esta casa, también tenemos mobile homes y otros espacios para vivir. Es importante entender que todo está en proceso de mejora y remodelación de muchas maneras y la gente debe estar preparada para esto. Aquí estamos aprendiendo a vivir fuera de la red, en un entorno rural sin la comodidad habitual de una casa urbana.
  
  En este sentido también es importante tener en cuenta que vivimos en medio de una zona de rural, y la tienda más cercana donde puedes comprar comestibles está a 7 km caminando del centro, y el pueblo más cercano con todo lo que necesitas de la ciudad está a 13 km. Así que no esperes poder conseguir lo que quieras en cualquier momento. Hacemos una gran compra cada 15 días, y es habitual que justo antes de la próxima compra haya mucha menos variedad de alimentos y tengamos que ser más creativos con la comida y la cocina.
  
  Doy prioridad a recibir personas que sean independientes en la preparación de alimentos. Mi padre prepara un menú vegetariano para la comida durante la semana y nosotros proporcionamos comida y alojamiento, pero no cocinamos para los voluntarios durante las cenas ni durante todo el fin de semana.
  
  Normalmente contamos con unas 15/20 personas en el proyecto, entre voluntarios y colaboradores a largo plazo. La cantidad cambia según la época del año. Entonces, si te gustaría tener una experiencia comunitaria en compañía de otros workawayers con una vibra similar y luego poder trabajar y estar con los perros durante unas horas todos los días, entonces este es seguramente un lugar ideal para ti.
  
  Doy prioridad a voluntarios con idea de permanecer en el proyecto por un período largo de al menos 1 mes. Lo siento mucho, pero si tu idea es una estancia corta es muy probable que rechace tu solicitud. Tenemos espacio para unos 10 voluntarios, y actualmente la casa está prácticamente llena y prefiero recibir gente a largo plazo ya que de esta forma la experiencia es mucho más enriquecedora para los animales, para las personas y para el proyecto en sí.
  
  Algunos de los que trabajan a largo plazo y yo compartimos el gusto por las rutinas matutinas. Durante la semana nos despertamos entre las 4 am y las 5 am y algunos compartimos libremente diferentes actividades como ejercicios de respiración, ejercicio en el gimnasio, meditación, correr y baños fríos en la piscina. Si te gustan este tipo de rutinas y te gustaría unirte a nosotros estaremos encantados de compartir estos momentos.
  
  El horario de trabajo sería de 4 horas en horario de mañana desde las 10:00 am en invierno y gradualmente hasta empezar desde las 7:00 am en verano. El trabajo esta basado en tareas relacionadas con labores manuales como cercado, jardinería, construcción y mantenimiento en general. El horario de almuerzo es a las 12:00 en verano, y a las 14:00 horas. el resto del año, y normalmente lo compartímos en la casa de los voluntarios.
  
  Por las tardes, de las 15:00 pm a las 19:00 pm existe la opción de pasear a algunos de los perros del proyecto por senderos naturales que existen en la zona, visitar a algunos de los perros separados del proyecto y pasearlos por nuestro terreno cercado, o estar con toda la manada y socializar con ellos en la casa principal.
  
  Tenemos una furgoneta, por lo que las tardes también pueden ser un momento para ir de compras o hacer un viaje a algún lugar agradable con algunos de los perros una vez a la semana, si ese es el caso.
  
  Preferimos que el centro siga libre de drogas y necesitamos gente responsable y consciente de la necesidad de prestar atención y cuidado en cuestiones de seguridad y equilibrio en la manada.
  
  También necesitamos gente que limpie la casa a la que están invitados, ya que estamos realmente saturados con el nivel de trabajo que los perros y el proyecto ya exigen de forma constante.
  
  Para aceptar a alguien es imprescindible que pueda escuchar a la persona a través de WhatsApp. Necesito estar seguro de la energía y actitud de la persona y poder charlar y conocer un poco a la gente antes de hablar de venir.
  
  Puedo comunicarme en inglés, español o francés (necesito mejorar mi francés). Y estoy abierto a hacer intercambio de idiomas.
