Terry and I (Sue) moved to France 10 years ago and live deep in the beautiful Aude countryside with open views to the Pyrenees in a converted stone barn (all our own work). We have also renovated the original fermette which we use as family holiday accommodation and as a gite. We love the outdoor life and regularly walk the Pyrennean foothills along with our lovely chocolate labrador, Freddie. We have about 2 acres of grounds, including a lovely swimming pool.

We would like help with interior decorating (painting) and gardening preparing our fermette for summer visitors.

We would be happy to let our volunteers have use of our fermette, which is a large house, sleeping 9, and has just about everything.
Our property is rural. Nearest towns for shopping, including marvelous markets are Mirepoix and Castelnaudary - both 15 minute drive away. The wonderful city of Carcassonne is a 30 minute drive away.
We are happy to provide lunch and dinner each day - good home grown, home prepared food. Vegetarians can be catered for (Sue doesn't eat meat).
