  We have a 4-bedroom cottage on a pristine lake near Algonquin Park. The lake is full of untouched nature, it's great for canoeing, and hiking. You'll see beautiful sunsets off our west-facing dock, hear loons at dusk, and morning fog in the hills. It's a 3-season cottage so we drain all the water and close it down in the winter. In the summer, it's equipped with a full kitchen, BBQ, stone fireplace, etc.
  
  I live with my wife and 2 kids (aged 10 and 12) in Toronto and we spend as much time as possible up there in the summer.

  There are some great people in the cottage community but it is very quiet at this time of year, as most cottagers have gone back home.
  
  I'll be there and I'm quite social - I love to travel to meet new people. Workaway gives me this opportunity even when I'm unable to travel (work gets in the way of so much fun!)
  
  If you like running, I'd love to take you on some incredible trails in the areas. I'd also be happy to teach you to sail, and how to make great coffee.

  Ajuda

  We're looking for help with small-medium sized jobs around the cottage: chopping and stacking firewood, trimming bushes/trees, installing trim in the guest cabin, hanging pictures, finding a cool vintage couch and helping me pick it up, etc.
  
  I will do the tasks with you for some of the time, and will leave you to continue on your own while I do my day job (I work remotely).

  I have spent quite a bit of time living and working in Spanish and French-speaking countries and I'd love to keep working on those language skills.

  You will have a private guest cabin with bed and private bathroom. We will share the kitchen in the main cottage.
  I'll buy enough food meals and snacks. We will share meal prep.
  You are welcome to bring any additional food and drinks that you like.
