We are a happy family of four: mom, dad and two children aged 13(girl) and 11 (boy) years old. We enjoy travelling and meeting new people.

Mother is Canadian with Chinese background, father is Canadian with German background. Our two children are 11 and 13 years old. Vancouver is very culturally diverse.

We are a friendly Canadian family who welcomes you to come and stay with us. We are looking for experienced people who are familiar running a household, which can include taking care of the kids, gardening, organization, cooking and light housekeeping. We used to host workaway students a few years ago, before COVID and we had excellent experiences.
We are located between the Vancouver Queen Elizabeth Park and trendy Main Street.
It is a bike ride to downtown Vancouver.
We have a strict No Smoking and no overnight guests policy!
If you have dietary restrictions, you are most welcome to prepare your own food in the kitchen.
Minimum stay two weeks.

Natsuki was an excellent Workaway. She was very organized, tidy, and just a great person to be around. She has a wonderful, honest and fun personality. Her meals were among the best we have had! She is a natural chef. We were very lucky to have Natsuki and welcome her back anytime!

they are so sweet, welcoming and friendly family!! I had absolutely great time with them. I was so happy that I could share Japanese food experience with them! thank yo so much for this experience I was really lucky to meet you all:))

My stay with Sharon, Bernd and their kids was great! I stayed with them for two and a half weeks and they really made me feel welcomed. I enjoyed spending time with the two kids and the many conversations I had with Bernd and Sharon. I couldn't have found a better host!
