  Dear workawayers,
  
  we, Anna and Uwe, live together with our children (5 and 7 years old) and Uwe's parents on the Trögerhof in Kleinlohma, directly between Jena and Weimar. With us here is the lovely
  Labrador dog "Mila", the cat "Frau Müller" and a small herd of Cameroon sheep. We grow a few of our own vegetables and keep the sheep for lawnmowers and for our own use.
  Lohma is beautifully situated on a hill between the small mountains “Wache” and “Holzberg”. The surrounding area invites you to take forest walks and hiking.
  
  At our Place you can do a variety of activities. For example, you can create beds, harvest, do expansion work, build a fence or even make firewood.
  If you are a fan of clearing out, we can certainly make you happy with our fully furnished barn. Furthermore, laundry is our absolute enemy. Especially the folding.
  Maybe you also would like or play with the children or teach them a few words of your native language. If you're interested in technology, you can build up a small combined wind power/solar system at our place according
  to our plans and with our instructions. You must'nt have any prior knowledge about it. We would teach you, what you have to know. We are engineers :-) Once in a year in late summer
  we organize a court festival with live music and cultural program for friends and the Village community. We always need help with preparation and organization. The next one will be around 14th of September in 2024.
  
  Anna and I both work from home on the farm. One of us is always available on site.
  
  By car you can reach Weimar or Jena in 20 minutes and Erfurt in 30 minutes. Here you can experience culture or go shopping. We can show you a little bit of the city or go to a concert together.
  If you are allowed to drive yourself, we can also lend you the car.

  wir, Anna und Uwe leben zusammen mit unseren Kindern (5 und 7 Jahre) und Uwes Eltern auf dem Trögerhof in Kleinlohma direkt zwischen Jena und Weimar. Mit uns sind hier die sehr liebe
  Labradorhündin "Mila", die Katze "Frau Müller" und eine kleine Herde Kamerun Schafe. Wir bauen ein wenig eigenes Gemüse an und halten die Schafe als Rasenmäher und für die Eigennutzung.
  Lohma ist landschaftlich schön gelegen auf eine Anhöhe zwischen den kleinen Bergen "Wache" und "Holzberg". Die Umgebung lädt zu Waldspaziergängen und Wandern ein.
  
  Bei uns kannst du Dich vielfältig betätigen. Zum Beispiel kannst du Beete anlegen, Ernten, Ausbauarbeiten am Dachboden und Futterboden machen, Zaun bauen oder auch Feuerholz machen. Auch kannst du ein paar Bäume in unserem kleinen Wald pflanzen. Wenn du Entrümpelungsfan bist, können wir Dir mit unserer völlig zugestellten Scheune sicher eine Freude machen. Außerdem ist Wäsche unser absoluter Entgegner. Vor allem das Zusammenlegen.
  Vielleicht hast du ja auch Lust mit den Kindern zu spielen oder Ihnen ein paar Worte deiner Muttersprache beizubringen. Wenn du Lust auf Technik hast, kannst Du bei uns eine kombinierte Windkraft/Solaranlage unter
  unserer Anleitung bauen. Du musst dazu kein Vorwissen haben, wir können dich da gut anleiten. Wir sind IngeniuerInnen :-) Einmal im Jahr im Spätsommer veranstalten wir ein Hoffest mit Musik und Kulturprogramm für Freunde und die
  Dorfgemeinschaft. Dabei brauchen wir immer Hilfe bei der Vorbereitung des Hofs und der Organisation. Das nächste Fest wird um den 14. September 2024 rum stattfinden.
  
  Anna und ich arbeiten beide im Homeoffice auf dem Hof. Einer von uns ist also immer vor Ort ansprechbar. Im Gartenhaus mit überdachten Außenbereich hast du bei uns deinen eigenen 16m2
  großen Schlaf und Wohnbereich für bis zu 2 Personen. Oben drüber über eine Außentreppe erreichbar ist ein kleiner Dachboden, auf dem noch zusätzliche Schlafgäste übernachten können, falls du mal ein paar Leute
  einladen möchtest.Toiletten und Waschmöglichkeiten mit modernen Standard findest du quer über den Hof. Eine Kleine Küchennische können wir bei Bedarf für Dich einrichten. Du/Ihr kannst/könnt aber auch gerne bei uns mit Essen.
  
  Mit dem Auto bist du in 20 Minuten in Weimar oder Jena, 30 Minuten brauchst du bis Erfurt. Hier kannst du Kultur erleben oder mal shoppen gehen. Wir können dir ein bisschen was von der Stadt zeigen oder mal zusammen in ein Konzert gehen.
  Wenn Du selbst fahren darfst, können wird Dir auch mal das Auto leihen.

  We are on site all the time. You can have conversations with us while breakfast, lunch and after the work. So you can learn german or improve your english. Anna is talking russian and ukrainian too. You also could make music with Uwe in the evenings. We also like to go to exibitions or Concerts in Weimar and Jena. If you would give a
  cultural contribution to our festival, this is very welcome!

  In the garden house with a covered outdoor area you have your own 16m2
  large sleeping and living area for up to 2 people. Above it, accessible via an outside staircase, is a small attic where additional guests can stay if you have a few people
  would like to invite you.Toilets and washing facilities with modern standards can be found across the yard. We can set up a small kitchenette for you if necessary. But you are also welcome to come and eat with us.
