Good experience with Fernanda. She's friendly and helpful for any task to do during the day. I really appreciated her esthetic sense into each work and her delicious brazilian "cartulas" for breakfast 😋

My experience with Luigi was unique.
Luigi have great artistic ideas. I had the chance to practice some calligraphy.
He is curious and willing to improve his skills in languages and cultures.
We cooked, shared meals together it was really nice.
He played music and it was fantastic.
The view from the house is peaceful. The village is charming and

Ischa Di Castro is a lovely and peaceful village and the view from Luigi’s is breathtaking! There is an actual canyon you wake up to every morning and you’re just left in Awe. I spent some weeks of my winter with Luigi and I only have great memories of my time there, which sometimes play back in my mind and instantly warm up my heart<3

… read more some Italian meals together that Luigi cooked, philosophical conversations and also he had an insane amount of knowledge about the folk music scene of Southern Italy which I loved listening to. I tapped into my artistic side when I was there and discovered a side of me I wouldn’t have if we didn’t share the time we shared.
Overall I would highly recommend spending sometime here in this ghost(only in winter) town but also sharing decent conversations with Luigi as he is a great host. I hope to be back when the caves have developed because the project he is planning is a very exciting idea.

I had a really good time at here. The people I met were so warm-hearted and welcoming that I felt comfortable from the very beginning.
What I liked about Gigi is that he is very straight-forward and will tell if you're doing something wrong - which makes it easy to work with him.

… read more people and since this complex is of modest size (3 rooms), you actually get to know your guests and sometimes even become friends with them.
About the work (cleaning, preparing the rooms): Like all physical work, it is somewhat demanding (especially if it's hot), but it's doable and they will always "give you a hand" if they see that you need help with something!
