I am a 49 years old woman. Teacher and researcher at the University. Living in Santiago de Compostela, the capital of Galicia (North-West of Spain). I have 2 healthy and funny children (a 16 years old girl+14 years old boy) and a sweet boyfriend. We all live in a nice apartment with 2 big terraces in a nice neighbourhood close to down town and the University of Santiago de Compostela. Sometimes we have a little dog (from my mum).
Hobbies: music, cooking, travelling, reading, skiing, surf, swimming, sailing, ballet, football, ICT, cinema, art projects.
Vacations: from 1st July to 31 Aug, Portonovo-Sanxenxo (Pontevedra), with beautiful beaches and fantastic weather.
Catholic family background but we do not practice any religion.
We don’t smoke.

After those 5 hours we will speak Spanish with the candidate, if he/she wants to. He/she can also come with us to our tourist, gastronomic and cultural activities.
The candidate does not have to pay for maintenance. No cleaning the house (just his/her room). But he/she must respects our rules and daily plans and help in the house.

Acomodação
accomodation in a double room (with one of my kids) and shared bathroom. No TV in the room but iPad and wi-fi.

Our offer includes breakfast, lunch and dinner plus any other products that the candidate could also need. During the hole week. We are a very healthy family. We love good meat and fresh fish and fruit and vegetables are always present in our daily diet.

We are very familiar with many close friends.
Some weekends we go out for lunch. Sometimes also with the grandmother.
The volunteer does not have to pay for this.
We prefer non-smoking volunteers.
