  Welcome to our charming and welcoming project in the beautiful area of San Biagio Platani, amidst the untouched nature of Sicily! Who are we? We, Tina and Mika, are nature-loving all-rounders and coaches, both born in 1975, and have realized our dream: to create a place where sustainable living, respect for nature, and the joy of a simple life are the focus. Tina is the organizational talent and lovingly takes care of structure and finances, while Mika is the on-site all-rounder with crafts. Our goal is to live sustainably and produce our own food. We are not a company; we are a social non-profit project. What can you expect? We are located about 300 meters above sea level, far away from stress and hustle and bustle. (The nearest towns are about 12 km away.) Here you will find peace, pure nature, and plenty of opportunities to learn new things and get creative. Olive and almond trees, along with many other trees and wild herbs, are already growing on our property, and our permaculture garden is slowly taking shape. Our first animal residents – chickens for fresh eggs directly from the farmer – will soon be moving in with us. How can you help? Your activities will mainly involve working in the permaculture garden, harvesting and caring for the trees, minor DIY repairs, and creative upcycling projects. We love recycling things and developing new, sustainable solutions. Around 3-4 hours of help are planned each day, leaving plenty of time for relaxation, exploring the surroundings, and socializing. What do we offer? Comfortable accommodation in a guest room or a pitch for a camper, caravan, or tent (tent can be provided). Access to a shower, toilet, electricity, and water. Wi-Fi (a bit slow, but sufficient 😉). Intuitive archery. A large kitchen-diner and a winter garden with a stunning panoramic view. Space for meditation, self-reflection, and interaction with like-minded people. Cooking and eating together, lots of conversation, and, of course, plenty of Sicilian joie de vivre! 🍝🍷✨ Who's a good fit for us?   Wer sind wir?
  
  Wir, Tina und Mika, sind naturverbundene Allrounder und Coaches, beide Jahrgang '75, und haben unseren Traum verwirklicht: einen Ort zu schaffen, an dem nachhaltiges Leben, Respekt vor der Natur und die Freude am einfachen Leben im Mittelpunkt stehen. Tina ist das Organisationstalent und kümmert sich liebevoll um Struktur und Finanzen, während Mika der handwerkliche Alleskönner vor Ort ist. Unser Ziel ist es nachhaltig zu leben, unsere Lebensmittel selbst zu erzeugen. Wir sind kein Unternehmen,wir sind ein soziales Non-Profit Projekt.
  
  Was erwartet dich?
  
  Wir liegen etwa 300 Meter über dem Meeresspiegel, weit weg von Stress und Trubel. (Die nächsten Ortschaften sind ca.12 km entfernt) Hier findest du Ruhe, Natur pur und jede Menge Möglichkeiten, Neues zu lernen und dich kreativ einzubringen. Auf unserem Grundstück wachsen bereits Oliven- und Mandelbäume und viele weitere Bäume und Wildkräuter, und unser Permakulturgarten nimmt langsam Gestalt an. In Kürze ziehen auch unsere ersten tierischen Bewohner – Hühner für frische Eier direkt vom Erzeuger – bei uns ein.
  
  Wie kannst du helfen?
  
  Deine Tätigkeiten umfassen hauptsächlich Arbeit im Permakulturgarten, Ernte und Pflege der Bäume, kleinere handwerkliche Reparaturen und kreative Upcycling-Projekte. Wir lieben es, Dinge zu recyceln und neue nachhaltige Lösungen zu entwickeln. Täglich sind etwa 3-4 Stunden Mithilfe eingeplant, so bleibt genug Zeit für Entspannung, Erkundung der Umgebung und Austausch miteinander.
