I have a farm near Carlow town which is a diversified business involving a large amount of haymaking in the summer,grain storage in the autumn. i have outdoor reared pigs during the summer months and there is a flock of 60/70 sheep on the farm. I live in the main house with my wife and daughter whilst my parents live a new build in the garden. we have numerous dogs. There is much to be done in the garden this spring and in the coming year there will possibly be a bit of construction/destruction on the main house and yard buildings.
Some of the help will be very physical so applicants need to be prepared for some hard grafting!!

Help will involve a lot of prepping and tidying up the garden. There will be a lot of general gardening and maintenance with painting gates,strimming grass etc. We are looking at doing a bit of renovations with our house so various projects there would be great too. Other help will include feeding animals, help with sheep,general maintenance on the farm. During the winter a good bit of wood splitting will be required (but it will be using a mechanical splitter)and also helping me clear and remove small trees and branches from around the farm.

Living in main house with us and our 3 dogs. Will have own bedrooms. Smoking strictly outside.take it in turns cooking. We are not vegetarians but will happily cater accordingly with meal preperation.

If you want to get out and about carlow has good rail and bus link to rest of country. there are various tourist sites within a couple hrs of here.

The good point is that Toby gives you a lot of differents jobs, you never do the same thing (just be careful cause a lot of this jobs are quite hard so... You are going to be strong !!)
