  Hello everyone, we are a family of four who has lived in different countries. We speak English and Spanish, and like the community life (with some privacy too :)).
  We love to share moments with our friends and are easy people, always interested in the diverse and varied experiences of the people we meet. We now live in a small town in the Pyrenees, a few kilometers away from a beautiful ski resort, a few minutes from thermal baths (spa town), and a few meters from plenty of extra hikes.
  We would like to find one person who is curious, joyful, easygoing and balanced to help us with our children and house.
  Also, that would be better if this person is motivated by mountain life, nature, sport as it is a paradise for that here!

  I am a teacher of French as a foreign language (FLE), so I will be able to teach French easily. As said previously we enjoy nature and sports so we would be glad to show the places we like throughout activities.
  If you like nature, sport, the sweetness of life, this region is made for you! The first big city (Tarbes) is 20 minutes away by bus and many activities are possible: kayaking, trail running, canyoning, skiing, hiking ...The Spanish border is 1h30 away from here and you can access the Atlantic coast in the same amount of time (Biarritz, St Jean de Luz...)

  Ajuda

  We are looking for one motivated Spanish speaker to join our family in the beautiful spa town of Bagnères-de-Bigorre, nestled in the French Pyrénées. Starting date : September 2026.
  
  In exchange for your help with children (teaching/speaking Spanish), house/garden projects, we offer free room and board (gîte et couvert) and the chance to immerse yourself in French culture and language.
  
  What We Offer:
  
  - Free Accommodation & Meals: A place to stay and all your meals included (not always shared with us as we are quite busy with work and children)
  
  - French Lessons: We are happy to teach you French and practice with you daily.
  
  - A Great Location: Live in Bagnères-de-Bigorre, a vibrant town near fantastic hiking, skiing, and cycling routes.

  Who We Are Looking For:
  
  - A person who likes teaching Spanish : we have children (9 & 13), we would like them to learn Spanish (they already speak English)
  
  - Reliability & Trustworthiness: Someone who is honest, dependable, and can easily share our daily life.
  
  - Autonomy: Someone who is self-starting, takes initiative, and can manage tasks independently.
  
  - IT Skills appreciated
  
  - Commitment: We are looking for a minimum stay of two months to complete the necessary projects.

  We live in a large house divided into 3 apartments in the city center. The house has a large garden with chickens and a vegetable patch.
  
  The woofer(s) will be staying in a private room with shared bathroom.

  If you would like to come over here we would be glad to show you the places to see, and of course we will help you to integrate yourself to our city. It is a small city (8000 inhabitants) but with everything needed: cinéma, swimming pool, shops, spa, ski station, mountains, library...
