Are you interested in learning how to off-grid and build a small eco-farm? We are a family of three living on a hill overlooking Conception Bay North. We have ten acres of land in an abandoned Newfoundland community. We hope to be able to expand our homestead to include an orchard and pasture for animals. Summer plans involve building a cabin for workaways. Awesome oceanfront scenery. Cod-fishing in our small open boat, and foraging (loads of berries and mushrooms) are also on the agenda.

Travellers will learn carpentry skills, off grid skills, and discover something about how people once lived in Newfoundland outports. They will learn how to build a pasture for animals, construction, and traditional cod fishing.

Help us raise a flock of Scottish Blackface sheep. Last year we had 3, this year there may be a few lambs roaming around our pasture.
